But, a simple 8oz filet was $83 vs, a standard $50 at Flemmings or Ruth's Chris. Therefore I decided to share the 22 oz Waugh ribeye with my kids. It was the only economical choice. It was not enough food. On the plus side. The waiter was excellent!“

“This was my first visit to Josephine's. I stumbled upon it while driving home and noticed a sign for the restaurant. After a quick Google search, I discovered they specialized in seafood, my favorite cuisine, so I decided to give them a try. Two days later, I made a reservation. Upon arrival, the hostess warmly greeted me, and I requested to sit at the bar. However, I wasn't acknowledged for another 10 minutes until I made eye contact with one of the bartenders named Cam. He promptly provided me with a drink and dinner menu. I also interacted with Franklin, who seemed quite introverted and not the best fit for the bar atmosphere. Despite that, Cam was very personable, funny, and had a down-to-earth personality, making my experience enjoyable. The oysters were phenomenal, and I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu. Overall, I had a great time, and the "Drink, Right Time Wrong Place" was amazing.“

Our server (I wish I could remember his name, he was a sweetie!) was amazing, extremely attentive, and very kind. Rene (I believe is his name) the manager, was extremely thoughtful. He brought champagne as soon as we sat down and he also brought my mom a card at the end of the dinner. It was so thoughtful and amazing! “A PERFECT job by the Steak 48 team. Arriving at an unexpectedly busy place for a Tuesday night, the hostess was still super friendly, attentive, and helpful. Within a few minutes she was able to get us a table (we didn't have reservations), and we were walked upstairs by a friendly and helpful gentleman. My date and I could not have been happier with the table by a window and it really made for a very romantic night. The place settings were perfect and the bus staff was quick to get water and take away the unneeded place settings. John the server had all the right answers and great suggestions on the menu, and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was great (as always), and included a perfectly cooked sea bass as well as an incredible petite filet. Even though it was getting a little late, there was absolutely no rush from the staff, and we enjoyed a great vanilla cake for dessert. Restaurant is run well, you can feel it, waiters serve the whole table at once (we were 5) which was a nice touch, with settings placed beforehand. Thursday night so not peak crowds. Started with oyster shooters which was fun. Moule frites and endive salad were both excellent, and they brought out their signature biscuits as well which were delicious. Entrees were all good, not great, which was a little disappointing. Dessert was very good though and the small cookies by the door on the way out was another nice touch.“

The only issue we have is that service can be spotty; longer than expected waits between courses, multiple requests required for bread to be delivered, etc. We feel a little self-conscious when we have to "raise our hands" and call attention to ourselves when we need another beverage or want to pay our bill. We will certainly continue to be "regulars" here!“

“This was our first time coming to crawfish cafe and it was so good! When we arrived, there was a short line and we waited about 5 minutes before being seated. We had the crawfish, garlic noodles, queso and cracklins and fried shrimp and catfish plate. Everything was good and the crawfish was 10/10. I got the kickin Cajun flavor with “spicy” spice level which was really spicy but GOOD! Jennifer was our waiter and she was very welcoming and friendly. She met all of our needs even while training another staff member! Our experience here was excellent and we will return!“
“This was my favorite Italian restaurant and it is still good food but the portions are smaller and they have changed a few food items like the minestrone soup is different with cabbage and other veggies that it never had, they don't have the spicy tomatoe sauce they used to have, and to many big chunks of carrot in the house salad which used to be Julianne. I do like the $10 food option for take home that is a plus bc it is anything equal or lesser value to your meal u bought that you can take home for $10 . The floors are dated and need replaced as do the booths and tables, but seems clean. Our server was good except the hostess seemed irritated and when I asked for a booth she tried to sit my family in a half booth half table setting so I had to reiterate I would like an actual booth. Drinks were good, my amaretto sour was perfect and my husband's old fashion was strong lol. It's a place we will return to every so often but not really as exceptional as it used to be to go often.“

Water station was dispensing cold water in the warm afternoon day so it was very refreshing!They asked us to pay by using the QR code which we did, very convenient but I suppose their system does not update right way because when we were walking outside, one attendant politely inquired if we had taken cared of the bill ?, I had to show her the electronic receipt and I have her the opportunity to go back inside to check their system. She came back and apologized. I did not feel embarrassed at all because they handled it very gracefully but I could understand if others may feel uncomfortable being out and in that situation. my advice to ownership is to look into how fast their system updates so customers wouldn’t be put in that predicament.This was just a lucky google search when we were driving in the area so it was such a lucky choice! I bought 3lbs of their kickin style flavor. A little on the sweet side for my liking but still very tasty. Corn was good. Sausage was OK. I don't ever care for potatoes but the wife wanted some. Also got the shrimp and fish basket with Cajun fries. Overall we were extremely satisfied. Crawfish was 8.99/lb. Decent size. Only a few dead ones. The shrimp was seasoned and fried perfectly. And so was the fish (I requested for catfish). All in all I would definitely go back again. The wife isn't a big crawfish eater or fried food but even she liked it a lot!!“
“My husband and I are in Houston TX for the first time. We walked past Potente and the building was eye catching so we made a reservation for that evening. We prefer the atmosphere of the lounge, so we dined at a table for 2. There was live music, which added to the environment but you could still hold a conversation. Our service was excellent, from the hostess, to the servers, the wine expert, and the chef (who came out to great us). We would definitely go back! The food was a creole Italian mix and excellent. We had a happy hour beverage the Potente 75, light and refreshing martini. We started with bread service (house made hummus was good, but I would have preferred butter or EVOO). We had the GAMBERETTO for the beginnings, which was an amazing meaty shrimp appetizer. For our mains I had the pasta and added the blue crab for protein source. I do not typically order pasta, but it was light and delicious. The pasta is made in house daily and I didn't suffer from any GI discomfort afterwards (I do not have celiacs but do try to minimize gluten). My husband had the veal chop with morrell mushroom risotto, it was tender and delicious. For dessert we had the TORTA DI MARSALA and a dessert beverage (my hubby's preferred way to enjoy his dessert). We would certainly go back! Excellent date night spot!“
