“Hands down one of our favorite restaurants in town! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The oysters are incredibly fresh and delicious, and the menu has a little something for everyone. We brought our two young kids, and they had the filet and fries and absolutely loved it! Little's is the perfect spot if you're looking for an upscale, casual atmosphere that still feels special and perfect for a nice night out. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is truly 5-star. We always have such a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back!“

“Per recommendation of my friend, I chose to make a reservation here for my birthday dinner. It is also Restaurant Weeks, so we ordered off that menu. I got the double breasted chicken and asparagus and mashed potatoes and the truffle Mac and cheese. My friend ordered the filet mignon. Everything but the mac and cheese was amazing. The Mac and cheese was not bad, however, the truffle was overpowering and not something I would eat again. If you can tolerate the power of the truffle then you could order the mac and cheese. Also, for my birthday they gave me a dessert from the Restaurant weeks menu and it was pretty good. The live music was a plus and I definitely will be back to try the regular menu.“

“We had an amazing experience at Balboa! Starting with the complimentary valet, which was quick and friendly service. The entry to the restaurant was super nice and a great photo opportunity spot. Kyrah took excellent care of us during our visit, and we loved the team style service. It felt like we had a team serving us, and they are so quick and quiet that you can continue to hold conversations and visit but someone is always near if you need anything. Kyrah took special care to "refresh" our cocktail glasses when we finished about half of our drinks, and made excellent recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. Our table tried the fried shrimp, oysters, spicy ahi tuna roll, crab cake, Post Oak ribeye with pureed potatoes, salmon with the most delicious and unique salad, and heirloom tomatoes. The cocktails were delicious, including the Gold Rush, Rum Dum, and el Guero. The restaurant vibe is romantic but fun and sophisticated and has an open kitchen concept where you can see the food being made if you care to watch. I will most definitely be back and can confidently recommend this place to anyone!“

“My husband and I are in Houston for his cancer treatment at MD Anderson. Needless to say, not a trip for fun, but it’s his birthday today, and we wanted to get out of the hotel at the hospital and celebrate just a little. Because he has stage 4 stomach cancer, his dietary needs are limiting, so eating out can be difficult. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. This being our first trip to Houston, we know little about the area, and our cab driver helped us decide on Navy Blue. Well, can I just tell you, they were soooooo accommodating of our needs!!! The chef went out of his way to prepare some special items for us, so my husband could eat. Though his portion size is limited, he thoroughly enjoyed his food, as did I. I ordered a small appetizer of baked in butter Prince Edward Island oysters, simply prepared, and oh so delicious. My husband loves oysters, but they haven’t loved him since he’s been sick. He even had one, and enjoyed it. My husband also loved the cheddar biscuits, and seaweed butter, I couldn’t believe he was able to eat the whole biscuit. They have a simply prepared section in their menu, and you can order your seafood pan seared in olive oil with simple seasonings. This was great for his situation, and he had beautiful pink juicy gulf shrimp. I had the Dover sole, and it was perfectly prepared and boned tableside. Gorgeous presentation, and the fish was absolutely delicious. I ordered the sautéed spinach, and he the creamed potatoes. We shared those, and both were delicious. All the staff were well trained in service and they were super attentive. Our server was magnificent. Thank you Navy Blue for showing us a lovely night out, in an otherwise difficult time. We highly recommend your restaurant to anyone in the Houston area looking for fabulous food, fabulous service, and exquisite attention to detail. This place is wonderful!!!“

“The place is beautiful. I appreciate that they enforce the dress code, which is what I like to see in a restaurant like this. Every staff member was so nice. Our particular servers in the smaller dining area, were great. Very knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. The bartenders deserve recognition as well for the fast and friendly service. I regret that i haven’t tried this restaurant before but i will definitely be back.“

“My husband and I have been loyal patrons of Goode Company Seafood for years and have always enjoyed our dining experiences. Shelley, our longtime waitress, has been an integral part of those visits. She was always warm, welcoming, and attentive, knowing exactly what we liked. We were saddened to learn that she was recently let go. While we don’t know the reasons behind this decision, her absence has certainly been felt, and our dining experience hasn’t been the same without her. We truly miss her and hope she may return someday, as she brought something special to every visit.“

“I’m not sure that I could recommend this place. The food was good, however I was with my 5yr old daughter and really felt like we were rushed. I understand we can’t possible order up a tab that much but we surely didn’t deserve to feel rushed. We split a salad and the meatballs. The main dish came out literally 2 mins after receiving the salad. I don’t know about this place. Slow it down.“

“A beautiful dining experience. Wonderful live music at just the right decibels on a Saturday night. My fiance' had the ahi tuna and requested it to be medium well, and it came out perfectly. I had the sea bass. The fish was perfectly tender and served over a delicious and tender sauteed spinach. No one can go to Eddie V's and be disappointed.“

So I was originally trying to book the other place (their competitor around the area iykyk) at first and I called 3 weeks in advance but they asked me to call back a week before my planned date. But for some reasons they didn’t allow me to make a reservation for the weekend because of the World Cup. I was low key mad but then I found Midnight Kabob. I called and they took my big party reservation.

“My brother (Tokyo) is a regular here and told me that we had to grab a bite at claros during my most recent trip to Houston. Boy did Claros deliver. The special sauce made by chef blew me out of the water. I practically drank it! The service was incredible and all of the flavor recommendations by the staff were superb. “If you are Claustrophobic place not for you.
Food was Great and fresh, service wasn’t the best you need to order by the bar , the waiter even passes the plates from the bar. Bus boy ,makes the way around the ship counter to pick up the dirty dishes. The moment you get there you need to be on your toes to see what availability they have on stools. Of course the larger your group the longer the wait. Seems it’s always packed and I can see why some just order in. Ample parking but as anywhere in Houston don’t leave your valuables and be mindful of where you park. This is based on my experience. I would most likely come back to pick up an order.“

“Such an amazing place. So kind and treat everyone like family. Food is delicious. We got the half half (hot topic and overload) and wow the flavors were fantastic. The blackened fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly. We also got fried catfish&fries, catfish was perfectly battered- not too thick and perfectly crispy. Will definitely be coming back. Only bad thing is that it’s so far from where we live (I guess it’s not bad thing for my waist 😅)“
