Leonard he was amazing! Super fast and made sure everything was perfect, even checked up on us to make sure everything was good. The food was so good everything tasted perfect. Drinks were super good too. I highly recommend this spot and definitely ask for Leonard if you can. Great vibes all around I’m from Memphis and I will definitely be coming back“

“This is a working man's restaurant where one is literally shoulder to shoulder on stools in a building that resembles a boat. The food is magnificent. The oysters on the half shell are spectacular as are the shrimp dishes and the gumbo. Try the catfish dinner. It's the best I've had West of Louisiana.“

“First time coming here and hands down the best in Houston. The staff was great the food was amazing. The crew pack it up nice for travel if coming through the drive through. I had a thirty minute drive back home and the food was still piping hot. I’m glad this place is an easy drive from my house cause I’ll be going again!“

“We love this restaurant. It’s been a Highlands staple for longer than I’ve been around. Portion sizes are awesome Carla and her crew are wonderful. Dad eats there quite often and don’t sleep on the fish special. The fish nuggets are amazing and the perfect way to enjoy this type of fish. :)“

“I ordered the shrimp po’ boy, fried catfish, and fried shrimp, and each dish was spot on. The po’ boy was loaded with plump, seasoned shrimp nestled in fresh, lightly toasted bread with just the right amount of dressing. The fried catfish was crisp on the outside, tender and flaky inside, with no hint of greasiness. The fried shrimp had the perfect crunch, juicy center, and a flavor that kept me reaching for more. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and seasoned with care—a seafood lover’s dream meal.“

“bought 5 lbs on 3-3-26. They were delicious and the meat was flavorful unlike other places in crosby where the spices are sprinkled on the outside when they come out the water. They were a nice size and $8/pound which is the going price (if you mention you saw 5 lbs for $40 on FB.) I will definitely be going back real soon.“

I tried the large fried shrimp, fried scallops, fried squid, hushpuppies and fries. They were ALL delicious!
I was really surprised at how good their crinkle fries were! Their corn/Jalapeno hushpuppies had a great flavor as well.

“We had a group of nine people and when we sat down we were greeted and gave drink orders. Family visiting while eating chips and salsa. Ordered food and it was ready and delivered to NINE people still hot and fresh. The service was better than any place I have ever been with EIGHT MORE PEOPLE. The food is fixed by real Hispanic cooks and was delicious.“

Just ate here and although its a slow Tuesday. The food didnt disappoint at all. 10/10 will return. The fish tacos i had accompanied by fries and rice set my dish off. I ate every bite and the bartender joked that I didnt like any of it 😂

“Fantastic. We had the combo plate (fried chicken, catfish fillet, and shrimp), crawfish fried rice, shrimp and chicken gumbo, blackened shrimp and fish with boudain balls and fries. Spent $70 to feed three people.
