Great place! The food was great. I ordered the seafood gumbo, dozen raw oysters and a single cat fish. It was all good. I'd recommend ordering a bowl of the gumbo, it was really good. Beers were ice cold too. Note: there is no hottest, just wait in line a grab the first free seat. Order from the staff behind the counter, no wait staff. When done just tell the cashier what you had. Great staff, they work hard! Fun and friendly crowd.
I love there fries and there fried shrimp with ranch is so good. That I can’t stop thinking about that food and the salted crackers are goated and I will always love this place❤
Tarter sauce needs improvement but the best best best Cornmeal Catfish and Shrimp.

Captain Tom's offers an excellent oyster bar experience with great food and friendly service. The gulf oysters are good and large, and the gumbo is rich. Fried platters, like the butterfly fried shrimp and Texas mini, are generous and satisfying. The real gem is the bar, where the micheladas are to die for. Carlos managing and the staff do an amazing job, providing fantastic service with incredible energy that makes the whole place feel lively. Seating is limited, but the overall experience makes it a reliable spot for enjoying a great seafood meal.
