“I ordered El Sombrero. I live close to the border. So I know mexican food. When I go away from on vacation, 99% of the time mexican restaurants are not good. BUT Pappasito was so great it moved to my #1 food restaurant to eat. The fajita broke easy. The rice and bean are great. Avocado and piccolo de Gallo were good and fresh. cheese enchilada was not drowned in the sauce that it overpowered the enchilada like other places. Chips and salsa were great that even my daughter was eating. With every bit, my taste buds were going crazy. Restaurant is actually very big than what it looks like. Again, this is my #1 restaurant. I haven't tried delivery or to go because it never tastes the same with all the food mix, and depending on how long it gets to, you might get dry and soggy. I recommend eating there. Whoever the chiefs were last night, March 14 2024. All I can say is, wow. Bravo.“
“Food was nice and hot! Nice size shrimp! Definitely will get full with the portions. We talked to the kitchen manager, who was extra friendly! Our server was quick and very respectful. We sat outside and everything was peaceful, they even have a sand box for your kiddos! Definitely will be back!“
“The food is always great. We love the shrimp and pork spring rolls, the flavor of the boils (shrimp/crawfish) is always good. My other favorites are the chicken banh mi and the chicken fried rice. My husband loves the egg drop soup and the salt and pepper shrimp, my older boy has to have the pho and my little one enjoys the sweet potato fries. He recently got into shrimp so we got the lil fried platter with sweet potato fries, I swiped a fried shrimp and I have to say it was good. The batter has flavor and not too much batter to the big size of the shrimp. The food is packaged well when we do take out that we still enjoy it as if we are at the restaurant, granted it takes us about 5 minutes to and from the restaurant.All in all, definitely recommend this place, fresh food and great flavor in everything we have tried so far.“
“I dined at The Rouxpour whilst visiting family in Sugarland I’m from the UK so this was my first introduction to New Orleans inspired cuisine. I was certainly impressed. We all enjoyed our food. Every last plate was delicious. We had the blackened shrimp, lamb lollipops and the gumbo as appetisers. Absolutely delicious. Most of us got the steak with crabmeat, shrimp, potatoes and veggies. Staff denied our request to join two tables together to accommodate us so we squeezed into a booth but our waiter Jordan apologised on behalf of his colleagues and took the table size into consideration and made sure the food came out at just the right time and could fit on the table. Jordan was also incredibly polite, funny and generally of great character. The food was great but he really enhanced the experience. I will certainly be returning upon my next visit to the area. “Went at lunch. Busy but not crowded and not noisy. Excellent food. Tried the redfish, crayfish bisque, shrimp pasta, bread pudding, sopapillas, jambalaya and chicken fried chicken. Also the alligator appetizer. Everything was very good. Prices reasonable compared to amount of food. Excellent service.“

“For the first time in my long life I ordered a burger from a Mexican restaurant! It was the best burger I've ever had and I come from the south! I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries were good and all but that burger though! The bread is what sweet it apart first, plus the melty yummy cheese dripping down the sides, then my hands, it was so messy and the messier stuff is too eat, the better it tastes to me! The bun bread was warm and soft able buttery and just a little sweet. Omg it was so good! Then the burger was thick and juicy and cooked to perfection! THIS IS THE BURGER I CRAVE EVERY TIME I WANT A BURGER FROM NOW ON! IT WAS THAT GOOD! ? ???????????????“

“They were the best for Indo chinese food when they started. The place is always crowded with long wait time now a days. Check wait time before you go.Update: We recently had my uncles milestone birthday party here! Food was amazing as always. Owner made some great suggestions while ordering and also made us reduce the quantity as he had better idea of how much will people eat. I am glad we listened to him. The quantity he suggested was so perfect that there were very little leftovers. Staff was very helpful and polite. Our party turned out great. Really really happy ?“
