“The food was very good. Nice slices of fish to rice ratio on the nigiri. The rolls were also very fresh and not much rice either which is nice. The tempura vegetables were great, fresh and fried to perfection. I was impressed with the service too. Andrea was our waitress and she was very attentive. The food came out quickly event though there were busy, we got there at 1pm on a Monday after Easter. Keep in mind Fort Bend schools were out, this definitely contributed to the crowd. The restaurant was clean and nice as normal. We will be going back.“

“My coworker raved about Suki Sushi last month after trying it for the first time. When she told me that she'd be going there regularly since she lived in the area, I knew I would have to try it. At this point, I've gone to Suki Sushi three times already -- once to dine-in, and twice for takeout. I was never disappointed, and I would still visit if I'm ever in the area again! ** Food: 8/10 ** On my first visit, I tried a bento box (with teriyaki beef, California roll, and tempura), red snapper nigiri, and a spicy scallop hand roll. My favorite thing about the bento is that I can customize what 3 entrees I want in it, so I don't have to worry about ending up with something I don't want. * Teriyaki beef (10/10): This was amazing! I could taste that there was a slight char to the beef for an extra kick of flavor, which most other Japanese restaurants do not do with their teriyaki. I could eat this everyday, honestly. * California roll (??/10): I personally don't like this kind of roll, so I didn't eat any of it. My boyfriend ate all if of though, and he didn't have any criticisms. * Tempura (9/10): I love that the batter used for tempura here is not as heavy. It tastes lighter and a more airy, so to speak. I don't feel as bad after eating several pieces. * Red snapper nigiri (5/10): The fish was a bit bland for some reason. There was neither freshness nor brinyness to it, and I have no idea how this could be. * Spicy scallop hand roll (10/10): If you like spicy, this is definitely something to try! The hand roll is a good size, and there's plenty of scallop so that you don't feel skimped out on the price. For my second visit, I ordered a bento box as takeout. This time, I had to get the teriyaki beef again. It was just so good! Other items I got were: * Sashimi (7/10): The cuts weren't that big, and I felt neutral about the taste of each fish piece. I was neither impressed nor disappointed. * Chicken katsu (9/10): The chicken cutlet was huge! The texture was near perfection -- crispy and not dry inside. My only issue with the katsu was that too much sauce was drizzled on top of it. I would have preferred the sauce to be packaged separately for takeout, both to maintain the crispiness better and to also allow me some control on how much sauce I want on the cutlet. For my third visit, I didn't try any new items and just created another bento box with a mix of previous items that I liked~ ** Service: 10/10 ** The owner is very nice, efficient with sushi rolls, and full of smiles and warmth. I can tell he cares a lot about his business and whether or not his customers are having a good time eating the food there. The other worker I saw was a lady who waited and handled takeout orders. She was an absolute delight, and she also offered her own recommendations on what was good. ** Ambiance: 10/10 ** The restaurant isn't too big, but the atmosphere is very cozy and comforting. You can sit comfortably and not have to worry about too much excessive noise, and the decor is easy on the eyes. I found the utensil box on the tables very cute and a nice touch too! There's a fork, spoon, and pair of chopsticks inside -- although I wonder why they have chopsticks in there while also providing chopsticks outside of it?“

“I've come to eat here multiple times with my family. We love the bento boxes, the sushi, and the warm sake. The spicy crawfish, the Houston, the Black Pearl, and the Eel Roll were delicious when we went today. You can never order the wrong thing. I'd go all the time if it wasn't a bit expensive. Definitely a place for special occasions, tho!!!“

“General Description:A traditional Japanese restaurant. They have booths and a sushi bar.The space is on the smaller side. The good:- Tonkatsu Ramen: Broth was a bit different than most Japanese style ramen. I don't like fatty/heavy broth base. This one was on the lighter side.- Yellowtail sashimi was on the fresher side. The bad:- Chicken was rubbery.- Broccoli was overcooked.- Wasabi mix was watered down.Overall:Worth trying.“

The restaurant is decorated nicely with a nice atmosphere. The service was impeccable as we were being check on quite frequently. As for the food , it was awesome, from the rolls to the freshly sliced fish. So if your over in Riverstone or find your self out that way stop in a give them your $$, you won't regret it.“

“I am so in love with the salmon roll, shaggy dog, and dragon ball! Seriously, you have no idea how fresh and delicious the salmon tastes. It's like a taste explosion in my mouth! And let me tell you, the shaggy dog roll is absolutely divine. It's the perfect balance of flavors that leaves me feeling completely satisfied. But you know what really takes the cake? The dragon ball roll. Every time I sink my teeth into it, pure joy washes over me. It's like a little piece of sushi heaven. Even my little one can't get enough of it. It's a family favorite for sure!“

“Takara Sushi Restaurant in Sugar Land left me thoroughly impressed. The sushi boat display was not just visually stunning but also showcased incredibly fresh selections. Using blue fin tuna for all their tuna sashimis elevated the dining experience. Every step of the way felt upscale, from the delightful coconut shrimp to the tender Wagyu beef cooked on a hot stone – the aroma was captivating. Takara has truly mastered the art of delivering a delightful and exquisite dining experience. Highly recommended!“

“It was my first time dining here. I had a Saba Shioyaki Bento. It was served hot, just off the grill. The fish fillet was a good size and tasted just fine. The green tea and miso soup and all side dishes were just fine as well. It probably seems no big deal to American people, but it’s not easy to find a bento that tastes just like we have in Japan. They were also playing very old Japanese songs (maybe 50 - 60 years old). It was like went back in time. Funny thing is the waitress said they don’t have any Japanese people working here. I’ll be back for sure!“

“Chinese buffet, the price is affordable, but found that it is not as good as before, the taste is too salty, the seafood is not fresh enough, the variety of dishes is too few. The crayfish tastes bad. Crabs lose the taste of seafood because they are fried. I hope the merchants can improve it. Usually, the passenger flow is decreasing, because the food variety is small, there is no interest!“
