“We were in the area for an Artwalk event so we Googled for a place nearby we could satisfy our sushi craving. Wow! What a fantastic find! Jellyfish is located on busy Ella Blvd in a very modest inconspicuous shopping strip - if you’re not looking, you’re going to miss it. Don’t miss out though!! This place has delicious food and you’ll experience excellent service. Everything was super fresh and prepared to perfection. I enjoyed the hibachi steak/chicken, grilled veggies & steamed rice. The meats were tender as were the veggies perfectly grilled & seasoned as well. We shared a roll of Sushi that was masterfully prepared by cooks that know how to do it. The restaurant is simple inside but kept very clean. We had no problem with parking. Restrooms very clean. We will return and recommend Jellyfish to others for fresh authentic Japanese cuisine.“

I was a bit nervous to try the handroll tasting ($66) especially with some of the options (such as Uni- had it before and was not a fan… at all)

“My first visit to MF Sushi was in 2015, and my latest visit 11 years later was just as impressive as the first. We sat at the sushi bar to change up the pace and catch the head sushi chef working his art. Truly amazing.

This is a place you come to for the quality of the fish. We had 2 orders of the avocado balls with spicy tuna, so good. Chutoro and ocean trout sashimi, it was so tender and the taste so uniquely fresh. We tried the chef’s deluxe nigiri, none of the cuts disappointed. The hamachi appetizer was also very good. Our last dish was the lobster Osaka box, my favorite roll in the whole wide world! Still as satisfying as the first time I had it.

It’s a sushi restaurant with style and atmosphere, a great date night spot. 100% recommended, over and over again.“

I got the lobster and filet mignon roll and it was pretty pricey, and it was not good. The only good part that was good was the fried Lobster. The roll itself was not tasty at all. “I walked in and asked someone nearby for a menu .He said menus are online rudely and walked off . I stood up there for a few minutes no one came back up to greet me or take my order . As soon as some Caucasian people walk in a man came out back greeted them & seated them all while I was just standing there . I just left respectfully . I was shocked that this place of business only caters to certain races not the African Americans and I normally dine in at the Mexican Restaraunt but I seen that a new spot opened up and I wanted to support . My family has been̈ treated very nice at the Mexican restataunt in the same shopping center everytime we go Customer Service is superb . This Educated African American will happily spend her black dollars where it is appreciated .You all need to take notes on welcoming everyone to your place of business regardless of color .“

Dishes that make you feel like you’re on a beach with a cool morning breeze awaiting the sunrise to hand rolls that give you the embrace of sitting in front of a fireplace in a cozy little cabin. “This restaurant has ~15 tables/booths plus ~6 seats at sushi bar for dining in. We visited this place at 11AM on a Thursday, and it was already packed by 11:15AM.
The services were prompt but limited (no refilling the water).

Overall, the food (sushi/sashimi) was very fresh, but we couldn't fully enjoy the meal in a very noisy atmosphere. Parking was also a problem due to limited space near the restaurant.“

“The happy hour (Monday to Saturday, 3-7 pm) is GREAT. Food and drink specials with plenty of options. I’m vegan and they have a vegetarian special with vegetable sushi, cucumber sashimi and a hand roll
- it was a great option for me. The service was fast and friendly. Lots of date nights were happening, a few friend dates at the bar, but there was no wait the whole time we were there. Lots of free parking in the lot.

Only bad thing was that they did not have tamari (gluten free soy sauce) so wife didn’t have any for their sushi.
