“I walked in with my headphones on because I thought picking up my order would be quick—just give my name, get my food, and leave. I had just gotten off work and had a headache.
I ordered 3 tamales and a coffee through Uber. When I received my order, I noticed the coffee was missing, so I went back and politely asked, “Excuse me, ma’am, where’s my coffee?” and showed her my receipt.
The interaction felt a little uncomfortable, and I think there may have been a language misunderstanding. She started speaking to me in Spanish, perhaps assuming that I spoke Spanish. I took my headphones off to listen better, but I still couldn’t understand everything she was saying. I just wanted to get my coffee and get on with my day, so I said, “Don’t worry, it’s okay,” and was about to leave.
It was my first time visiting this place, and unfortunately, I was starting to leave with a bad impression. But right when I was about to walk out, another girl stepped in and helped me. I asked for her name, and she said Caroline, or something like that.
Because Caroline stepped in and helped me, I was able to enjoy my food and leave with a much better impression of the place. ❤“

“Best place for $8 Tuesday burgers!! Literally 50% off sticker price. Order takes no more than 10-15 min for it to come out. Also comes with side of fries or tater tots. All the burgers are great here and portions are very filling. If I could get it every Tuesday, I would!“
