Treebeards has been around for more than 30 yrs. It is still as good as the very first time I tried it back in the 90’s. The cafeteria style is fast and the food is amazing. The fried catfish and red beans & rice are the best you will find anywhere. This place is an institution. I hope it continues to be around for many years to come. The people that work here are SO nice…. and all the desserts are wonderful!??
I absolutely love Treebeard's. The food is fresh, hot, and flavorful. Red beans and rice with cheese and onions are my favorite. It is perfect for this rainy day. I decided to treat myself with the moist and delicious yellow cake with chocolate icing it makes any good day even better.

This place is awesome. I miss their old location, but the Cloister is really unique. Their food is so very consistent and delicious. Recommend the chicken and peppers with dirty rice and for dessert, the yellow cake with chocolate
