“I’m not sure that I could recommend this place. The food was good, however I was with my 5yr old daughter and really felt like we were rushed. I understand we can’t possible order up a tab that much but we surely didn’t deserve to feel rushed. We split a salad and the meatballs. The main dish came out literally 2 mins after receiving the salad. I don’t know about this place. Slow it down.“

“I love spicy food, so I tried the REAPER! And it was meh. Don't get me wrong it WAS spicy, but it didn't taste good. It's like drinking everclear vs a cocktail. It doesn't pull you back in with layers of flavor or nuance. It's just super hot chicken. The real challenge isn't finishing it because of the heat, it's finishing it because of the flavor. The food itself was cooked well and the chicken was juicy. The fries were crispy. There was nothing wrong with the quality of the food. They just need to tweak the seasoning on the REAPER to make it worth the pain.“

Shakira did a wonderful job ensuring a perfect dining experience, from the moment she greeted us at the table, all the way through dessert/tea and checkout. She even brought a drawing pad to entertain my friend’s toddler to calm him down during the dessert/tea. The Houston Restaurant Weeks menu had multiple quality options for each of the three courses as well. Definitely a new favorite go-to for Persian food!“

“Love love this Pollo Regio, Nury was so nice so attentive and very helpful. We went to the location on 1960 , in Cypress creek and it was horrible. No onions, no flour tortillas, no guacamole and the service is horrible everytime we go there. Super recommend this location !“

One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? “Nando’s PERi-PERi did not disappoint! The chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful, even the white meat. But those sweet potatoes as the side absolutely stole the show. The combination of feta, pepitas, and PERi-PERi sauce was SO good. I’d go back for the sweet potatoes alone.“

“Ive heard about this place and was in the area wanting some quick tex-mex after missing superica. I was not disappointed!! I had an Oaxaca taco (I’m vegetarian) with a small queso and guacamole. It was simple and delish! Everything came out super fresh and fast. Special thanks to Ty and Javier they were so kind and made the atmosphere even better.“
