The girls are friendly and nice folks. My favorite dish here is the ‘mixto con camarones y caracol al ajillo’. It’s a mixed seafood plate with perfectly blended shrimp and snail in light garlic sauce served over rice and beans, fried toasted plantains, and lettuce salad. Their aderezo (sauce) is the perfect topping. Never disappoints and it’s very fulfilling. You can share the plate with another person and still be full. Their desayuno (breakfast) plates are so good too. The prices are reasonable and it’s best to call to order before pickup.“

I went for a late lunch on a Friday, sat at the bar and was not disappointed. Had an amazing crudo dish that was flavorful with a crunch on top that rounded out the dish. I also ordered the fried roots and sauted greens which both were not over complicated on the seasoning. When it came to service, Tyreek provided some amazing cocktails and provided great insight on the menu. I had the chance to meet the General Manager, Danny who was personable and completed the experience. I will absolutely go back for the full dinner experience.“

“I woke up craving Seco’s legendary spinach enchiladas. We are in the middle of a pandemic and I am tired of my cooking so I called in to place an order to go for lunch. Chef Seco answered the phone and said he is sorry but they aren’t open for lunch right now. I said oh darn I’m craving your spinach enchiladas but I’ll call back another time. He said he was there accepting a delivery and would make them for me! I will never forget this and my belly is so happy right now. These enchiladas are to die for. As well as the soups, brunch and everything else. Thank you Chef Seco! On a side note-my family started frequenting Jalapeños regularly when I was about 7 or 8 (I’m 40) and I’ve been ordering the spinach enchiladas since then. I also used to work there in high school as a waitress.“

“My wife was craving pupusas but I was craving pollo asado so we ordered both.The pupusas were big and stuffed with cheese. The curtido had the perfect “pickled” taste. The salsa was tasty with a kick!The pollo asado plate fed us both and we had enough left over for a second round each. The pollo asado was very flavorful and the smoked sausages were a nice surprise. The rice was good and the charro beans were delicious. They had a good amount of sausage and bacon in them.“
