“Have been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. I've had their fajita, pastor, and barbacoa. All meats are very flavorful and delicious. Their quesadillas always hit the spot. Since my family is bigger now, we tend to get the special plate. It consists of a plate of meat with melted cheese on top and a stick of tortillas. If you're not a cheese person, you can get the regular plate, which is the meat and tortillas.“

Although the brisket needs no BBQ sauce, the sauce they make is fire. I pray they bottle their BBQ sauce one day. The owner was super cool and blessed us with stickers in addition to the fabulous food. My friend recommended them, and El Pobre Tex Mex BBQ did NOT disappoint. Highly recommend. I didn't have any issues parking on a Saturday morning. I tried their breakfast tacos and they were good but I don't think the flour tortilla was homemade. Not a deal breaker for me but it was missing that extra touch. However, the tacos were at a great price point, I spent ~$15 for six of them. I would consider them again if I'm hungry near EaDo.“
