“I was told this is a Houston staple and no lies were told! I’m an old soul and this is a community joint! First, the oldies playing smoothly in the background just put me right at ease. Who don’t love Motown? The older gentleman who took my order was sweet as pie, and told me to come back 😂 (got a side eye from the man). But the burger. They don’t make them like this anymore! Patty amazingly, cheese gooey, crisp lettuce, mayo hit. Best part was all the folks coming and going. Testament to this place! Cheers to another 60 years! #HEH“

“The Vibe: Total time capsule. Love the historic, old-school diner bar setup and cafeteria seating. The building speaks for itself, and the open kitchen is completely spotless and modern.

The Food: Got the classic cheeseburger and fries combo ($20). The burger is a fantastic, high-quality, old-fashioned cheeseburger. No crazy gimmicks or fancy sauces, just incredibly fresh ingredients prepared with care. The only downside? The fries felt like standard frozen ones—this burger deserves fresh-cut fries!

The Service: Absolute 10/10. The staff was incredibly welcoming to a first-timer, gave great future recommendations, and checked in on my meal while keeping the place immaculate.

I visited the bellaire location on 7/9/26 at 8:15 pm
The dude at the register was super nice and chill great vibes and had great recommendations!
I apologized profusely because I got there 30 min later than expected AND closer to close than I had wanted.. an accident occurred in front of me on bellaire and got trapped in traffic.

The employee reassured me it wasn’t too late and was super gracious / courteous.

What we ordered:

Jalapeño Bottle Caps
Onion Rings
Rustic Ranch/Bacon Fries
Midtown Burger *upsold to sourdough bun* 🔥
Bacon Cheeseburger

Ordered both burgers medium and even from the trip from there to home to sit down and eat the burgers were still slightly pink and perfect!
The burgers really are great, the grind perfect, toppings ratio perfect, buns PERFECT!
Especially that sourdough jalapeño bread bun it was super soft and slightly sweet so it was perfect with my midtown burg.

Jalapeño Bottle Caps: were well breaded and fried
VERY plentiful didn’t realize they were pickled jalapeños fried instead of fresh jalapeños. (Probably would be too spicy for folks if it was raw jalapeños) the breading wasn’t falling off and stayed crispy the whole ride back home.

Onion rings: man oh man are those killer and HUGE for 5$ not a bad deal at all!

Rustic Fries: OMG the NOSTALGIAAAAA I had when I realized they made them EXACTLY like my fav restaurant in my hometown I cannot express enough!! (Baumhowers) These fries are killer dudeeeeee omg the portion size and taste is out of this world. GOTTA GET THE RUSTIC FRIES TO SHARE THOUGH 😂

I didn’t know that they had self serve by the oz price of beer on the taps for us as customers to meter out. SUPER NEAT! Going to definitely come back with my gf and sit down and eat.

“An austin institution. Started eating there in 1992. Great burgers, and they make and sell bulgogi burgers, my favorite burger of all time. Fries are ok. Onion rings are better shakes are thick. Branched out to open several outlets in houston ect around 2012 and this is one of the best of the houston contingent. Look for mama-san, everyone's fave counter granny.“

“Our first experience with Bellagreen was scrumptious! We were visiting Houston and googled for gluten free vegetarian meals. Very thankful our search led us here. The atmosphere was relaxed and the aesthetics overall were spot on. I had the seasonal harvest salad and it was nothing but perfection! Everything was so fresh and made a beautifully colorful plate. “We went around 3 pm after a long hot day at the zoo. Free parking at the garage was easy and super close. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I chose this place on a whim because of the many menu options. Finding a place to eat with our 5 and 9 yr old can be challenging but the food was great and portions are very generous. I got the chicken fried steak w loaded mashed potatoes. Phenomenal. Everyone at our table was more than happy with our experience here and I’d highly recommend to everyone! Also they’re pet friendly and have vegan options.“

“A great restaurant that is family owned and operated and has been serving delicious food at a fair price to our community for decades. This quite possibly might be my favorite burger of all time , certainly the burger I’ve had the best memories while eating.“

“Stopped by for a lunch date with the Mrs. Since I had a Friday off for once. Came during lunch rush and it was busy, always a great sign when entering a place and the line did not go down during our vist. Millers is a classic 50's/ 60s style diner with great decor. Reminded me of watching an episode of pawn stars or American pickers with all the classic ads lined on the walls.

Simple menu with multiple burger and sandwich options and counter service, lady working the front was very nice.

They have a bar top as well as regular seating will definitely sit at bar top on next visit.

I got the grilled onion burger and added bacon, there's also a separate bacon burger with grilled onion that come with bbq sauce. Partner grabbed a tuna melt and I was instantly jealous as I have been looking for a tuna melt for quite some time. Burger was fresh, came with a poppy seed bun, and the bacon was CRISPY. They also add mustard to their burgers which was a pleasant delight as most places don't. We shared a side of onion rings which were cooked to perfection, nice and crunchy but NOT burnt.

Will definitely be stopping by next time I have a free lunch to try another one of their burgers or sandwiches. Ample parking as it's inside of a dollar tree shopping center.“
