“I was told this is a Houston staple and no lies were told! I’m an old soul and this is a community joint! First, the oldies playing smoothly in the background just put me right at ease. Who don’t love Motown? The older gentleman who took my order was sweet as pie, and told me to come back 😂 (got a side eye from the man). But the burger. They don’t make them like this anymore! Patty amazingly, cheese gooey, crisp lettuce, mayo hit. Best part was all the folks coming and going. Testament to this place! Cheers to another 60 years! #HEH“

“I love Weinerschnitzel--they have delicious food and some coupons with great deals. But, most of all, there are a few older people who work there (not just teenagers) and they really go the extra mile in customer service. They're friendly and accommodating.
This location is a bit out of my way, but I'm in the area I always plan a stop here. It's a very worthy excursion. I mean, it's a hot dog place (mostly), so it's no Michelin fine dining thing, but for what it is, you can't do much better with the people, the prices, and the delicious food.“

“Simply exquisite! Been wanting to try Burger-Chan for a while and finally got my chance. Did NOT disappoint. Very obvious they use quality ingredients, the bun was fresh and the patty was full of flavor. The best REAL burger in Houston (possibly the US). My 7 year old smashed a double patty with bacon and French fries, tells a story.“

“I think wingstop got new owners or something because their service got slower and the wings don’t taste like they used to, so I decided to try Wingbay. The wings are better than wingstop and the cheese fries were loaded with cheese. This will be my new wing place.“

“The first time in hippo burger hamburger and onion was very good but when I went back my hamburger was put in the container upside down causing the top of the bun to be wet from all the juice from the lettuce and tomatoes. I was charge 5.99 for ea 16oz shake The onion were still very good“

“Slightly better than the standard chain burgers stores especially since the buns were a bit too sugary tasting and the single patties are way to thin as was the old cheese and much to "pricey" over $ 107.00 for a family of four. On the positive side, the fries were fresh and plentiful. What we learned Whataburger or Miller's Cafe would have been a waaaaay better for the money and food@ 1/3 the price.“

“So...I was having a rough day to begin with. Bottom line, I placed my online order with the wrong location. When I arrived to pk. it up, the crew @ Shepherd couldn't find my order. Instead of making me go to the location I inadvertently placed my order, Kydell stepped up & took care of it for me. Big shout out to Kydell. It may seem small but on that particular day it wasn't small to me at all. It is good to know there are employees who ride for the brand. That employee is Kydell @ the Shepherd location. p.s. It did not hurt that the cheeseburger & Cajun fries were off the chain! Thank you Kydell! :-))“

“Love order their hot dogs on the weekend, just?? hate that lady charge me for two extra hotdogs. I did not order, when I think she should have gave it free to me. then they did ? make my cheese Fries, until I told them after I check my order, then when back a charge me for the cheese fries, even tho I thought I paid for the fries in the beginning. ??“
