burgerchan - Heights Reviews
Burgerchan in the Heights is a decent burger spot, but overall I left a little underwhelmed. The restaurant is nice, modern, and clean. Everything feels pretty new and well maintained. The staff were fine, quick, and efficient, and the ordering process was straightforward.
One thing I did like was the customization. When you walk in, you fill out a little clipboard with exactly how you want your burger. You can choose your bun, patty size, number of patties, cheese, toppings,...read full review

Man this place hit the spot!
I ordered a 5 oz Burger with pickled jalapeños, pickles, raw onions and Ketchup
Suggest you try the Scallion Aioli
The service was great too, Ozzy did a great job delivering the food and was really cool guy, so if you see Ozzy say “thank you for the food Ozzy”
Give this place a try, you won’t regret it

Off the beaten path but the best burger I've had in a long time. Big, juicy and perfectly cooked. Fries were excellent too. Friendly staff, quick service, varied menu. Very cool murals, possibly done by someone chemically inspired, XD.
If I was a local, this would be my go-to for burgers.

Burgerchan in the Heights is a decent burger spot that feels nice, modern and clean. Everything is pretty new and well maintained. The staff are fine, quick and efficient and the ordering process is straightforward. A fun concept is the customization clipboard where guests choose bun, patty size, number of patties, cheese, toppings, sauces and extras like a fried egg. Guests also choose different types of fries and sides. The customization gives plenty of flexibility.
The food is average. The sweet bun on a burger is liked but the burger overall is fairly plain and does not have much standout flavor. Regular fries have a slightly off taste like the fryer oil is not particularly fresh. Sweet potato fries are good. A 5 oz Burger with pickled jalapeños, pickles, raw onions and Ketchup is mentioned. Scallion Aioli is suggested to try. The 1/2lb burger bowl and stacked-chan are described as good and big, juicy and perfectly cooked. Fries were excellent too.
The place seems to try to be a sports bar and a Japanese-inspired burger restaurant at the same time. The branding has an Asian influence but much of the menu feels like a fairly standard American burger shop. Overall nothing is particularly bad but nothing is especially memorable either. The restaurant is clean, the staff are efficient and the customization is a nice touch. It is a perfectly fine burger spot but nothing to write home about with many other good burger options in Houston.
