Triple J's Smokehouse Reviews
A group of 16 of us went for dinner. The staff was amazing in handling our group. Friendly smiles and healthy servings. The prices for the serving size is an unbeatable deal. The flavors are remarkable. As a native Texan and brisket fanatic I can honestly say some of the best in the state.
Js is a true hidden gem.

Triple J's Smokehouse offers well-seasoned barbecue that is juicy, tender, and melts in your mouth. Their fantastic buddha and potato salad are on point, not too salty, and taste like grandma is in the back. The BBQ sauce is perfection, with a great smoky flavor. The atmosphere is amazing, with inspiring quotes on the wall for a little walk with Christ. The service is awesome, and the food is off the chain. The smoked meats and sauce are particularly enjoyable, and the quantity of food is well worth the money. The brisket and baked beans are especially good, with a balanced flavor profile that is true to Texas BBQ. Sides and peach cobbler taste like grandma is in the back, making the meal feel homey and authentic. The place clearly is rooted in the community, adding to its charm. The only small note is that during busy times, the customer experience at the counter could be improved with a little more courtesy or acknowledgment while waiting. Nothing major happened, but a quick smile or warm “we’ll be right with you” would help first-time guests feel more welcomed. This black-owned establishment far exceeds its reputation, making it a 5-star experience.
