Place is very packed with customers most of the time so be ready to wait to order and receive your food, I ended up getting the slice brisket with the triple J’s barbecue sauce and it was good.

First time customer. Food is delicious! I ordered the Triple J Special (Brisket, Ribs, Sausage) w/ potato salad and green beans. I enjoyed every bite. The homemade koolaids are good as well but extremely sweet. One koolaid can be diluted w/ water and made into two. Now here’s why I didn’t give 5 stars across the board; the cashier set up. While there was a line, it’s expected as it was a Saturday. We waited about 1.5 hours. The inside of the building, where the line is formed is very narrow, “sharp shooter” style. The cooks/line staff are making the plates in a timely fashion, it’s the cashier or check out process that slows things down. There’s a MAJOR need for another check out system. Maybe a portable square terminal or some other portable card reader. I attached a picture for reference. This would help A LOT! especially since most customers are using cards, tap pay, etc. However this is just my opinion. I’m not promoting square pay nor am I affiliated with them in any kind of way. Will I come back? Yes. On a Saturday? No! It will have to be one day during the week where I can maximize my time and fully enjoy the experience.

Triple J's Smokehouse great place to get BBQ. I ordered the Triple J' special plate with brisket, ribs, sausage all delicious and cooked to perfection with two sides green beans, and dirty rice. I like there BBQ sauce. Had to wait in line for about one hour but it was damn sure worth the wait. I'll definitely go back. Next time I might try there baked beans, potato salad, boudin and also I would like to try there homemade beef links one day and there smoked chicken! I definitely recommend this place. Good service and good food!!! ?

Went and stood in line for an hour (which I was told to expect), only to get not-so-good service. I understand that they are busy, but to have customers yelling over other customers is ridiculous and unsanitary. Ordered the J's special and chicken. When asked what sides I wanted, another customer stood in front of me to give her order to the man fixing the food and literally spoke over me so the lady didn't hear what I said. Then she proceeds to put what she did hear on the plate and close both boxes without even asking what sides for the second plate. When I told her what sides I wanted for the second plate she gave me attitude replying that she asked me what I wanted. How could you hear me with others yelling over me? The only 2 people I had a good experience with were the guy showing people in and the guy checking people out. The food was okay but not what it was hyped up to be.
