“I love spicy food, so I tried the REAPER! And it was meh. Don't get me wrong it WAS spicy, but it didn't taste good. It's like drinking everclear vs a cocktail. It doesn't pull you back in with layers of flavor or nuance. It's just super hot chicken. The real challenge isn't finishing it because of the heat, it's finishing it because of the flavor. The food itself was cooked well and the chicken was juicy. The fries were crispy. There was nothing wrong with the quality of the food. They just need to tweak the seasoning on the REAPER to make it worth the pain.“

“Came in during the lunch rush and Brian took my order — dude was an absolute pro. Friendly, quick, and actually made me feel like a person instead of just another ticket in the queue. He walked me through the spice levels since I couldn’t decide, gave me an honest recommendation instead of just upselling, and got everything right. Little things like that make a huge difference. “Made a stop in for lunch one Sunday afternoon at the beginning of May. It was a bright, sunny day and people were enjoying the nearby green space. There were plenty of seating options both inside and out. The food was excellent! The staff was warm and friendly. The salsa bar is the best! Truly enjoyed our experience and will be back!“

“Our first time trying this chain, known for its crispy fried chicken. We visited the location on Westheimer in Houston. Service was very friendly and prompt. The chicken was yummy and my husband really enjoyed the adobo rice. The mashed potatoes were just ok. Their fried peach-mango pies and ube (purple yam) pies were pretty good. “Good place. Nothing particularly stands out. Its is good rotisserie style chicken cooked over coals. The oven is in view as soon as you enter. Different food choices that will only find in southern Mexico down to South America such as fried yuca, fried plantains etc etc. Beans and rice were very good. Once they serve your food, your on your own, so no table service. Much like a Popeyes, or churches, or other fast food eateries. Bathrooms a dining area need a little TLC.“

“I grew up here, and this place was my escape from living in Sunnyside. The food is great, our great friend Moses who runs the establishment is and was an amazing man, and this place is so good I even wrote a song about it called “Bellfort Avenue” by Dango Torres. This place gave memories, I’ve seen so many funny things at this place too, due to the nature of the neighborhood, but I love this place. Everybody there was like family to us back in 2018-2020.“

“My workplace cater this place every Wednesday and I looked forward to it every Wednesday! The spicy and and sweet ginger taste pairs together well and the crispy chicken is so tender and moist. It's a bit pricey and it's so worth it.“

“Stopped by Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers in the Galleria in Houston around 11:30 AM and it was a quick little victory for my stomach.

The storefront is kind of small, but Cane’s branding is loud in the best way. It is a whole lot of red, black, and bold fonts with strong “hey you are hungry” energy. From a marketing perspective, I respect it because in a mall full of options, Cane’s basically jumps out like, “Do not overthink this.”

Food came out fast and it was super fresh. I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, so I am basically a Cane’s veteran at this point, and this location did not embarrass the home team. The staff was welcoming, everything moved quick, and my toast was buttery, warm, and soft. It was the kind of toast that makes you forgive the person who cut you off in traffic earlier.

Overall, solid experience. 5 out of 5 stars. If you are in the Galleria and you need something reliable, this Cane’s will treat you right.“

“Normally I would have a picture of the food, but sadly I was heading back home so had to eat it on the road.

My girl got the normal chicken sandwich, she really enjoyed the breading and the flavor of the chicken itself. Also the pickles on there were the sweet kind for her which happens to be her favorite.

The fries in general were mid tier, not bad not amazing, just general French fry goodness.

The yuca fries were great, nice and fluffy, and I recommend them over the normal fries.

I got the spicy chicken sandwich. It had a nice building heat but not too hot at all. Very good. It also came with pickles, but I believe the sauce, which is what made it spicy, toned down the pickles sweetness. I believe my sauce was Chipotle based.

Very nice.

Also the drinks, the horchata was divine, with a creamy cinnamon flavor that im still craving.

I also got the jamaica drink which is a floral tea thing, sour and sweet, very refreshing, went well with my spicy sandwich.“
