“What is not to like about a place that has great food and an even better story??? I saw this place, and it was quite busy. I ordered some chicken, of course, and was pleasantly surprised at one the taste and how jucy the chicken was! The crust and combined wet and dry seasonings were different, but somehow worked and gave it a unique but very tasty flavor. “Last time i’ve had Nandos was in Johannesburg, SA around 3 years ago and i’ve missed the sauce. I recently came across a TikTok and searched Nandos and it was only 12 minutes away!!!! I missed the sauce sooo much and today we decided to check it out.We got seated and was then told we could order through the phone or the register. They had a good playlist that made me feel like i was back in SA. We place an order through the phone and it was surprisingly easy ( i’m not good with technology but it wasn’t difficult at all). there was cups next to the fountain drink area so we served ourselves and the food was delivered no more than 10 minutes afterwards which was fast! It was a slow day due to the rain so i understand but get this, it was delicious!The sauce, same as i remembered! To remind you i used to eat that sauce with everything!!! i tried hot and toned down to medium because i’ve mellowed down on spicy food since i lived there but still was amazing!I ordered the boneless butterflied breast with peri chips (fries) with perinnayise, and the portuguese rice, and my boyfriend ordered the same breast with the peri mac and red skinned mashed potatoes, everything was delicious. The only thing is my man is not a big fan of fat so he had to scrape it off but he was still impressed!!We will definitely be going back and i highly recommend this place! I was delighted with the quality of the fried chicken here, which in my opinion surpasses that of the crowded and rushed branches of elsewhere. The spicy fried chicken is unmatched by any American joint; the marinade penetrates throughout the meat, and the skin offers a delightful crisp without being overly “sharp” in the mouth. The slightly sweet notes in the seasoning pair well with Jollibee’s gravy. As for sides, the creamy mashed potatoes stand head-and-shoulders above the rest, with the spaghetti a distant second. The peach mango pie is a nice reprise at the end of a hearty meal. Be aware that the spaghetti is done in the Filipino style, and is definitely more sweet. While the prices have crept upward, this seems to be the trend with fried chicken in general. To sum it up, Jollibee is a worthy addition to anyone’s fried chicken repertoire and a rare glimpse into Filipino culture especially here in Houston.“

“This was a pleasant surprise - we didn't intend on eating here but saw it as we were driving by. We were greeted by a very welcoming and warm staff. They were very attentive and sincerely interested in our dining experience. The food was delicious as depicted in their menu pictures. The grill chicken had the delicious off-the-grill taste and the Tallarin Saltado was the perfect match of the pasta and beef. The drink, I believe called Chicha Morada, was very refreshing and interesting (in a good way). I will definitely be stopping by again when I'm in the area.“

You order from the kiosk, the kitchen makes it in the back and when your order is ready, you get your food from a locker (a code is texted to your phone). “I first of all want to say that i have pateonized Hoodadak many times before. Each time the service and the food was very good. I want to complain however about the shoddy customer service I received today. I order the large wings, half soy garlic and original. I ordered the original because my Dad does not handle spice very well. This is what i get everytime we come. I and my father tasted the original. It immediately set our mouths on fire with spice. I brought the chicken back to explain this and to see of they would refix the original side od the order as somebody in thw back emptied the pepper bucket on the chicken. Please note, my soy garlic wasnt spicy, but extremely salty. I was told by the clerk, basically i was not lying and refixing my order was futile. I asked to speak to the manager, after 5 minutes of waiting, all i got was an answer from the cook, he did not use spice on the original order. At this point, i realized it was futile and walked out. I will never patronize this place again, especially as the customer service from the employees is as shoddy as this and no one is willing to correct mistakes. I believe in getting what I paid for, and the attitude and actions I recieved suggested i just wanted something for free. You should really educate your employees about customer service and what spice is. I am very angry and disappointed in how I was treated today.“

Ready in just a few seconds after I got to the window to pay. It came in a cute brown bag with handles! I got the two piece grilled chicken with the beans and a roll. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection! It was nice and juicy! The seasoning was different than I was expecting but still really good! “It has been years since I have been to canes. My first impression was not good because as I recall the batter on the tenders was a thick batter. I may be wrong but NOW it is amazing. Loved the light coating of batter and the juicy tenders. SERIOUSLY HAPPY!“
