“Had their BOGO today (spicy) with Sprite (no ice). I attempted to go inside, but the line was long-ish and I didn't see any available tables. Drive thru didn't look so bad, so we attempted it, although considering just bypassing. It smelled REALLY appetizing. We found a shaded spot on the way home and enjoyed the TENDER, JUICY fingers, the plump, salted-just-right fries, and the unbelievable but well-executed thought of a piece of toast!! So, seriously, can someone come pick me up and take me home? Imma take a nap! 💤“

“This place has amazing food and the ambiance is really good!! We really loved the spicy garlic edemame the best. The wings and the chicken dumplings were pretty decent. The food came out pretty quickly even though it was crowded. I would reccomend this place for some good food! I will be back soon.“

One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? “I love chicken! I was in the mood for something different and bb.q delivered spectacularly on taste, texture and quality. I like the heat level high, so I opted for a mix of secret sauce and hot spicy (beware the hot spicy is no joke).. I ordered for pick up so you know theres a chance sometimes something won't be as crispy by the time you get home.. Not with this chicken.. Its hard to explain but if you like an ooey gooey sweet spicy sauce and a crunch as if it were candy coated, this is the place try.“

“Nando's is our go to chicken place! They offer a large variety and their South African flavors and sauces are awesome. Beware though, when they say hot they mean it!

I highly recommend the halloumi appetizer and rainbow chicken bowl.“

“Chicken salad chick has always been one of my favorites. But when I went through the drive-through on Good Friday. I was surprised with an Easter egg basket where I could choose two eggs. Each egg had a surprise in it. I opened the eggs and received a free side item and a coozy. I don’t think I’ve ever had that much fun at a drive-through window. Great job!“

I ordered two identical meals, and both Isidro at the drive through and Essence, the manager, wanted to make sure she didn’t feel left out! As a single mom, this was more than a gesture and they are loving their dinner as we are winding down from a night of activities. Food is great and hope they save me a bite! “My first visit to this location in Houston, TX. Pleasantly surprised by the people behind the counter. It had been a while since I'd stepped into one of the restaurant locations Had some questions about the menu, but the lady who took my order very gracious in explaining everything. I decided to place an additional order, and another attendant took my order with the same friendliness as the previous one. Will make a point to stop by next time I return to visit this particular area. Nice people. 😊“
