21 Best Chicken Restaurants in Katy

“Had their BOGO today (spicy) with Sprite (no ice). I attempted to go inside, but the line was long-ish and I didn't see any available tables. Drive thru didn't look so bad, so we attempted it, although considering just bypassing. It smelled REALLY appetizing. We found a shaded spot on the way home and enjoyed the TENDER, JUICY fingers, the plump, salted-just-right fries, and the unbelievable but well-executed thought of a piece of toast!! So, seriously, can someone come pick me up and take me home? Imma take a nap! 💤“

“great food, great atmosphere and service 👌 👍“

“Fantastic food, spectacular service. Holloway took care of everything we needed. He personally walked us through the menu and all our options and inside details you can’t get from any menu. It was personal and friendly experience with excellent food. 10/10“

“100/100 highly recommend!! I ordered the shrimp, daddy tacos with fries with mild sauce, and I definitely was not disappointed! Mark, the man of the hour hooked me up!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Best Landing Ever — 10/10 Would Fall Again” So there I was, minding my own business, enjoying the in-flight peanuts at 35,000 feet, when gravity decided to spice things up. One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? Only if you enjoy defying physics and good flavor. 🔥🍗 “Houston Hot Chicken — where the food slaps harder than the landing.”“

“Great customer service.
I arrived at 8:01 ( not knowing they close at 8:00) to pick up a late dinner for my family while I was in Katy. We all love chicken salad chick, but unfortunately do not get to visit much since we moved to Waller. They where happy to take my order on the items that where still available as they where closing there kitchen. All the food was great as allwase.😊“

“Chicken salad chick has always been one of my favorites. But when I went through the drive-through on Good Friday. I was surprised with an Easter egg basket where I could choose two eggs. Each egg had a surprise in it. I opened the eggs and received a free side item and a coozy. I don’t think I’ve ever had that much fun at a drive-through window. Great job!“

“I frequently eat at CFA and this location is hands down the best. You can tell a difference in organization and well run place compared to other locations. I am grateful this one is where I frequent most.“

“Fast and fresh. 10/10 would recommend 🙏🏼“

“Tonight was the worst experience I've had with Chick-Fil-A. I went to the one on Pin Oak and ordered a meal at the drive thru. It was standard procedure (the girl at drive thru was very nice). As they do, she asked if I wanted sauce. I said yes. I got to the window and they gave me my meal. After arriving home, there was zero sauce. The receipt showed that I should have gotten 5. Now, please understand that my daughter makes this concoction that doesn't work without the sauce. So, I had to drive back to CFA to ge the sauce. I called just before I pulled in and spoke with a female, explained the situation and asked if someone could bring it out to me at the drive thru. I told her what vehicle I was driving and that I was sitting at the Pedestrian Crosswalk. No one showed up. As I sat and waited the line cleared in front of me and another female employee asked me to move up to the window. I explained why I was sitting there and she stated that they would have it at the window. I proceeded to the window where I was met with multiple employees who looked and acted clueless. They all just shrugged their shoulders at each other. Finally, as the ridiculousness of the situation sank in, i decided to call back. This time I spoke with a gentleman. Ultimately I did get the CFA sauce, but the struggle was real. It seems as though service has dropped at this location. Just very disappointed.“

“On Tuesday night, I was coming home from work and stopped to pick up my two-month-old son. There was a young man named Denzel who didn't mind getting wet and helped me carry my son's car seat inside my house. I want to thank him and say that this young man would be a great worker, very helpful, the best of the best. I thought maybe he was the boss, but he wasn't good job Denzel Washington♡“

“My LO was so happy with the ply area opened up again.“

“This Popeyes is the BEST for me and my family. They seem to go out of their way to make sure our food is hot and fresh and made on time whether we drive up or stay and eat it in the restaurant!! Thanks to the management and employees especially the Senior Citizen guy that always greets us and make us feel welcome at the restaurant!!“

“Frenchy’s Chicken never disappoints! The chicken was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and fast, and everything was spot on from start to finish. Zero complaints here. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Excellent me encanta su pollo . Buena atencion y sus manager son super amables.“

“Check your food before leaving. Often missing items. No apology or sense of urgency in correcting the problem, just asked if I was sure I was missing the item. Fries are slso soggy and cold.“

“I've had so many bad Popeyes' experiences that Ive all but sworn them off. My work partner insisted on Popeyes when we drove through Katy. This was the very best Popeyes, I HAVE EVEN BEEN TO. They were clean, employees were courteous and friendly, with a sense of urgency and they weren't out of ANYTHING. I felt like I was on another planet. The food was delicious and I left with a strange disorientation, not convinced that I'd been to an actual POPEYES. Well done Clay Rd, well done. Thank you.“

“Absolutely the best Church's location I've been to in the Houston area. Always fresh and flavorful chicken and the staff are kind and give off a great vibe and energy. Hats off to you guys!

“I visit Popeyes yesterday morning and I have to say the guy that's works to the front. I believe hes the manager was very awesome. Pleasant had the best customer service. My wife recommended me to the store and ask me to come check him out. And she's is 100 %, right? This guy changed the atmosphere to being the most enjoyable morning. I can never ask for every day thank you.“

“Absolutely hot and fresh food when I order online and the customer service is outstanding. I love the price for the food. We didn’t have to wait for our food when we picked up at the drive thru. The staff at Popeye’s work really hard and make the lines move smoothly. I will definitely be a regular customer here. Love the classic chicken sandwich and it’s on point and the Cajun rice and the red beans and rice and mash potatoes with the gravy is so yummy and delicious. And I love the hours here too. If you have any questions or concerns they will take care of it. I appreciate everyone at this location.“
