The Filipino warmth, hospitality, pride, and quality are part of the brand—and just as important as the Chickenjoy. “saw a post for this place (cypress location) and a special buy 1 get 1 so ordered and had delivered however, bread had MOLD on it and did NOT eat the food. called several times to fix this and number did not work. very DISAPPOINTING 1st time and can't tell how the food tastes because of not eating it.“

“I don’t usually do reviews. However, the service that my family
and I received was above and beyond the norm. Me, my wife and our two grandsons decided to go to Slim Chickens after church yesterday & from the beginning the service, as usual, was better than most other fast food establishments. However we took a long time ordering due to my wife is recovering from a mild stroke and one of my gsons is on the autism spectrum. The manager, “Sergio”, without hesitation assisted the cashier helping us with my coupon and military discount, making the process easy peasy.
My wife got the grilled chicken salad. The boys and I shared the Family 12strips+ 6 bone-in wings+8toasts+10sauces w/ fries + macaroni and cheese as the sides. It was cheaper to get the Gallon of sweet tea and we brought half of that home. The boys almost fell asleep in the booth. My entire crew fell in love with your Cayenne Ranch sauce, except for me I’m not a Ranch guy. I did turn them on to the Sweet Chili though. My only regret, is that I didn’t do a trial run (taste testing) with the sauces, before bringing ALL to the table. We brought home about 6 of the Ranch, whereas now they prefer the Cayenne Ranch & Sweet Chili sauces
Sergio must have come to our table at least 4 times after our food had arrived. He absolutely would not let me get up for anything! I salute Sergio and the staff at this location. I only wish that you were a little closer to home, selfishly, so that I come more often.

“Fantastic place. Delicious food. Whole chicken is $17 and it comes with tortilla, rice, beans, salsa verdi, a grilled jalapeno, and grilled onions. The value is fantastic considering how expensive everywhere is these days. You might struggle to park if you come past regular work hours because it's in an apartment complex parking lot. But worth it. Highly recommended.“

“The place is in a bad location...a seedy looking gas station across the street from a pay by the hour motel frequented by our neighborhood ladies of the night (I aint talking vampires either if you know what mean)and few shady looking clientelle or drug dealers. However, the resturaunt is clean and food always hot, fresh and delicious. If you can get past the outside appearance and not get approached by a bum or crackhead then you are in for a treat. The chicken is ALWAYS hot and fresh and the fried chicken gizzards and fried chicken livers is my favorite and served in a paper bowl stuffed in a brown paper bag covered in grease...that when you know something good is in that bag! You really need to go inside cuz the choice in sides are different each day. Broccoli rice and spaghetti are my favorite sides besides reg mashed potatoes and corn on the cob!! Be brave and try it. You wont be dissapointed. Just keep your windows rolled up in the drive thru and pay attrntion to your surroundings! Ive never been robbed or hurt and i'm kinda joking but kinda serious....“

“Something was wrong with the app today and I was unable to order curbside. Got in the drive thru line right at the noon hour stressed about the wait. However, these kids moved the line along quickly with a smile - even though it is really hot today!! I feel like Chick-fil-A is making a real difference in the lives of this younger generation and I really appreciate the difference you find in service here!“

“I just recently started working in this area and this just happens to be the closest Chick-fil-A to my job. Last week I wanted to go to Chick-fil-A and when I pulled up, the line was out into the freeway, I left because who is waiting on the side of the freeway just to get into a fast food restaurant? Immediately NO! I did decide to deal with that today and I went mentally prepared to probably be there for 20+ minutes but when I got there, the line was moving so quickly and so efficiently I was out in 10 minutes and the food was perfect. I can tell that the management team was doing traffic organization and expediting. I can also tell that they run a tight and well executed ship because everybody was professional! Everybody smiled, even though there was 1 million people in the parking lot and in store it was simply a pleasant experience and I will be back. Kudos to everyone!“

“I grew up here, and this place was my escape from living in Sunnyside. The food is great, our great friend Moses who runs the establishment is and was an amazing man, and this place is so good I even wrote a song about it called “Bellfort Avenue” by Dango Torres. This place gave memories, I’ve seen so many funny things at this place too, due to the nature of the neighborhood, but I love this place. Everybody there was like family to us back in 2018-2020.“

Lady at the drive thru was awesome and recommended me some sides and up sold me on those amazing apple pies. Best part though is I think they fry the chicken to order.
