Chicken Restaurants near Stafford

“I just recently started working in this area and this just happens to be the closest Chick-fil-A to my job. Last week I wanted to go to Chick-fil-A and when I pulled up, the line was out into the freeway, I left because who is waiting on the side of the freeway just to get into a fast food restaurant? Immediately NO! I did decide to deal with that today and I went mentally prepared to probably be there for 20+ minutes but when I got there, the line was moving so quickly and so efficiently I was out in 10 minutes and the food was perfect. I can tell that the management team was doing traffic organization and expediting. I can also tell that they run a tight and well executed ship because everybody was professional! Everybody smiled, even though there was 1 million people in the parking lot and in store it was simply a pleasant experience and I will be back. Kudos to everyone!“

“This Popeyes in Stafford is the best in the South Houston! Every time I go, great customer service and very clean. The food is always fresh and Hot! Hot food is a must for me.
I made it a point to talk the Mgr and express how pleased I am with the food! I referred friends and my personal clients to this location. We all love it and will continue to enjoy Popeyes!“

“I gotta be honest... I wanted Hartz Chicken Buffet, but i was dead tired and didn't feel like doing the drive in evening H-town traffic. So it came down to here or Raisin Cane's.

When I pulled up, I realized this wasn't a standalone Church's, but a mini one attached to a corner gas station. And I almost left it right there and then.

While getting gas outside, I mulled my choices. Read some of the other reviews here. Some people like it, and some hate it.

Again, tired. But hungry and know I need to eat. So I bit the bullet.

A 3-piece dinner box, dark, combo - so came with a side (I chose mashed potatoes and gravy), a biscuit, and a drink. Beyond this, I ordered a fried pineapple pie for takeaway/later, but ate the meal there.

There are a few tables amd windows seats. Arizona, the manager, was himself cleaning things up on the floor - sweeping, wiping tables, resetting chairs, whenever he wasn't taking orders and doing cashier duties.

I can only speak for myself, my food, on this day and this shift. I can lead with the fact I've eaten in Church's/Texas Chicken all over the world, including Singapore and Qatar.

My 3 pieces of chicken were perfectly cooked. Crust was crunchy, properly seasoned, meat cooked all the way through but not overcooked.Biscuit light as ND fluffy. Potatoes were the weird smooth whipped kind, but otherwise tasty with the gravy. Maybe 10 drink choices from the fountain machine, but you could just as easily get a drink from the convenience store if you wanted.

My food was delivered fresh and fast. Arizona had my pie cooked up fresh and ready before I left.

I doubt I'll ever be back but Aziz and his crew did me right by my dinner tonight, and I'm glad I stopped in.“

He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure my order was taken care of. He even surprised me with some extra goodies in my bag, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
You can really tell when someone actually cares about providing good customer service, and Marcus definitely does. He was so kind and welcoming that it honestly made my whole experience better. Dave’s is lucky to have someone like him on their team. ♥

“This was my first time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken. The whole experience was a WOW!

To start, a huge shout out is in order to Christian and Simoneth for being so friendly and for going above and beyond! I went big and got the Reaper tender. I was out on the patio and after one bite I was STRUGGLING! Nothing I did was helping. Hindsight, I should have gotten a milkshake to have ready. Seeing me miserable and pacing back and forth, they quickly handed me a cup with some ice cream in it. Going that extra mile for me without even asking them to really deserves the highest of praise. Thank you times infinity!!

Before going for the reaper, I got a mild tender and a medium slider. Both were SOO fresh! Adding pickles, Dave’s sauce, and a drizzle of honey made it THE BOMB! The fries were fresh and the Hot Honey Mozz sticks had a great flavor and cheese pull.

I finished the meal off with a fruity pebble milkshake!

“At the Shertz TX location they changed me $7 for about 6oz of ranch dressing. Blew my mind. Lol drove an hour for the mozzarella sticks and they were out. 😢😢😢 Chicken was good though. Mac and cheese was good as well.“
