“The place is very small! It doesn't have much parking, you have to walk from the back parking lot to the main door, and pass between those who order takeout, the other drawback is that to eat inside the place is small, the food is very delicious, the service is fast and the staff is attentive.“
“Same great taste, very nice service dvdn through the game, Deborah always nice, high energy and very courteous - its nice to see great customer service with good food nice combo and the ghost pepper wings oh man and that strawberry biscuit wowWheelchair accessibility: Handicap lanes and parking“
“Today I tried Dave's for the first time. I have to say out of all the hot chicken places I've tried so far this place is absolutely the best! The chicken was so tender and juicy and the seasoning was just right. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors.“
“Love the fried chicken here! The seasoning and flavor is always consistent. It's also served hot. The fries seem to be sitting out for a good minute as it's always room temperature. But I can't give this a bad review as I do come here for the chicken. The staff is always friendly. This location is small and has a few seats to turn in.“
“The staff was great. It's a nice vibe. I was surprised and amazed the see waiter Sonny carry our plates balanced across his arm. We always return and will continue to. This the only chicken place that leave all others behind. We..my fam go to no other place for chicken their delicious sides and “
“The atmosphere was really nice with excellent soothing music playing while I ate their delicious chicken. The cashier really helped me and my buddy out with choosing what to get from the menu. Overall an excellent experience and will come back. Hope to see Alauna again for the excellent service.“
“I recently moved to the area east of UofH and had heard this location was popular. The first time I tried to go to the drive-thru the line was too long for the time I didn't have. Today, I was off so I popped by around 4:00pm and it was pretty good. The main thing I had to say was that the guy in the drive-thru who took my order was a joy. He had such a great attitude for someone who was clearly on his feet most of his shift. I said my name was "Jason" and he paused and said..."chi-chi-chi...ah, ah, ah..." It was hilarious. He was so friendly. It took a little bit of time to get my order, but there's always a line so I didn't mind. The young lady who walked my food out did it with a smile and was so nice as well. I got home and tore into this food that took me back to my memories of eating Frechy's when I was a kid on the north side (North Forest) of Houston. The chicken is perfectly spicy. The fries were hot and crispy. And it's wild that the dirty rice is a delicious as it was 30 years ago. I don't have to recommend this place because everyone knows. I just came to give these people their props for the most pleasant drive-thru and eating experience in a long time.“
“Man oh man what a treat! I was cravin a good burger stop by this place as they were closing & they was gracious enough to take my order I’m so glad they did the burger was everything I needed & more it was season to perfection, fresh toppings, cheese, & most importantly fresh meat! They even thru in some chicken wings which was honestly the best I’ve had in Houston. Don’t sleep on this place it’s a gem ! thank you to the owners for serving me even though you were closing great customer service & top tier food!“
“I’ve come to POST quite a few times over the last year, most recently to see the Christmas Lights. Every time I come back I make it a point to try something new, and I do but I always end up getting a Hot Fish Sandwich at Lea Jane’s as well. This sandwich is fire!!! I feel kind of atypical for repeatedly ordering a fish sandwich at a Hot Chicken joint but it is what it is. I usually don’t repeatedly order the same item when I return to a restaurant, just because I like variety but this sandwich is making me break protocol. I get it as spicy as possible. I love everything about this sandwich. Intense heat on a huge, fried filet of flavorful fish, with pickles and sauce in between two buttery buns. Throw in those crispy, rough cut fries and we got us a delicious meal.Service is always quick and not complicated. The ambiance is typical of POST . Just find a table, pull up a seat and enjoy this huge, hot fish sandwich!“
“Finally a Dominican-owned restaurant on my side of town! My wife is Dominican, and despite being an amazing cook, she likes to go out and eat Dominican food. We live on the Northeast side and until now, have had to travel minimum 45 minutes to the handful of Dominican restaurants we frequent because apparently, all the Dominicans in Houston live outside the Western boundary of Beltway 8 ?. We only came across this place today because they have a little Dominican flag in one of their windows, and my wife spotted it with her Dominican eagle eyes as we drove by. They had Bachata playing on the overhead speakers, mofongo and morir soñando on the menu, and all the food we tried at our first visit today was amazing. This is our go-to spot from now on. ??♥️“
“Cane's is good, Cane's is delicious, you will love Cane's... there are just two big issues you need to know. Cane's has gotten crazy expensive, and it never keeps me full as long as other meals (even if I get their biggest menu item), two very big issues.“

It's clear that they use fresh, high-quality chicken, which makes all the difference in the flavor.Moving on to the fried rice, it's a flavorful accompaniment to the chicken. “A great spot for bad vegans, and not just because The Underground Hall's lighting makes it a challenge for people to spot you WAY in the back obsessed with Bird Haus. We've been all about their Lil Chicks box with an order of fried pickles to share on top of the fries that already come with the boneless tenders. The service was quick but welcoming. And this last time we swung by, we got our pickles first which made a nice app. Their fried breading here has a crunch that doesn't separate from the chicken or pickles, both of which have been flavorful and far from dry. The fries are well-seasoned, but they don't leave you feeling thirsty. Bird Haus makes me thankful that I don't work downtown. Just the thought of all that flavor would mess with my punctuality and overall productivity, even with Miyoko Schinner mains in my brown bag.“
“Thank you Church's Chicken for being affordable and good place to dine and treat your family and friends thank you for having affordable prices and thank you again the food was great have a good day Kudos out to churchesDietary restrictions: Good job“
“I got the little chick which is 2 chicken tenders, fries, and a dip. I chose the spicy tenders. They weren't too spicy but they were flavorful and juicy. I chose the garlic ranch as my dip. I would come back here just for their garlic ranch honestly. It was one of the best dips I've ever had!In the dining area you have to order through a QR code. It wasn't very efficient and we had problems with the order not going through so I would recommend just ordering all food and drinks at the bar.“
“The chicken was out of this world. It made me think of the Church's chicken down the road. Oh wait, they closed that one down. Anyway, they kept the soul of the recipe alive in this location. Fed my family well and we all enjoyed it. Especially the biscuits, a little bit of honey and you're headed to heaven. (Hopefully not from high cholesterol or clogged arteries.)“
“Although this is within a convenience store, it is a very clean and maintained location. Food quality is good as expected and service is good as well. Compared to previous Church's in the atea that are closed now, this is a step above. Typically order the chicken, most sides and the biscuits are always hot.“
“The cashier almost always has a bad attitude. It just makes the fried chicken taste better. Pour me some more of that red kool-aid, Ma'am! Give me my sugar hit. FYI: Carry your own hot sauce bottle; they will be out of carryout packets. This is a hood spot, with a long line, and no a/c, on a good day. You don't come for the customer service, you come for the food. PERIODT!Parking: Small lot, but parking can be on the street“
“The food at this place was so tender and delicious. It is a nice little neighborhood gem. I was really surprised it wasn't packed for dinner. It was my first time here, but I'm impressed with the food and low prices. Only thing I would suggest is to have a mild salsa because both of them were too hot. The food was so delicious that I didn't need salsa.“
“So I saw this place on my way to Chick-fil-A and made a detour. I'm glad that I did. I just had wings and fried okra. Everything was hot and fresh. The okra wasn't really seasoned but not a deal breaker for me personally. I enjoyed the table service. That's a nice touch. If you want a tad bit elevated fast food experience this is the place.“
“I am not to fond of taco trucks but my husband insisted we try. Glad he did because the chicken is absolutely juicy and delicious! Food - 4 stars The small order is half a chicken with beans, corn tortillas, and whole grilled onion. The chicken is always warm, juicy, seasoned well, and delicious. Customer service - 4 stars They are nice and quick. Price - 1.5 dollar signs Half chicken with tortillas and whole friend onion is $10.00 Cleanliness- 3 stars It is a taco truck. The area around it is clean. Next door is a farmers market . Restroom - n/a“
“We arrived and received Excellent service from David the cashier I really appreciate how he explained everything I wanted to know about the food as well as he was hands on with showing me how the food actually looked rather than just the pictures, I can really say that me and my family will be coming back and also shouting out this fantastic restaurant to others who don’t know about it.Thank you all for the service the food was definitely 10/10 will recommend!!!“
“At first glance you wouldn’t expect a fast food restaurant to be high quality, but here all food is made fresh upon request. Also got so see the manager first hand work, she’s very welcoming and patient as she goes through orders quick and always greets with a “
