“Had their BOGO today (spicy) with Sprite (no ice). I attempted to go inside, but the line was long-ish and I didn't see any available tables. Drive thru didn't look so bad, so we attempted it, although considering just bypassing. It smelled REALLY appetizing. We found a shaded spot on the way home and enjoyed the TENDER, JUICY fingers, the plump, salted-just-right fries, and the unbelievable but well-executed thought of a piece of toast!! So, seriously, can someone come pick me up and take me home? Imma take a nap! 💤“

“My Venezuelan friend brought me here for the Pork Arepas, with at least two and maybe three cups of pork belly mixed with green sauce and pico under a generous layer of queso blanco.

It was two meals worth of food and I am stuffed. Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior. The interior was spotless and comfortable. For the price, the atmosphere was great, but I reserve five stars for fancy places!“

Now, please understand that my daughter makes this concoction that doesn't work without the sauce. So, I had to drive back to CFA to ge the sauce. I called just before I pulled in and spoke with a female, explained the situation and asked if someone could bring it out to me at the drive thru. I told her what vehicle I was driving and that I was sitting at the Pedestrian Crosswalk. No one showed up. As I sat and waited the line cleared in front of me and another female employee asked me to move up to the window. I explained why I was sitting there and she stated that they would have it at the window. I proceeded to the window where I was met with multiple employees who looked and acted clueless. They all just shrugged their shoulders at each other. Finally, as the ridiculousness of the situation sank in, i decided to call back. This time I spoke with a gentleman. Ultimately I did get the CFA sauce, but the struggle was real. It seems as though service has dropped at this location. Just very disappointed.“

“We brought a reward coupon for one of my daughters to the window and the other, who had not read as many books, did not have one. I ordered two identical meals, and both Isidro at the drive through and Essence, the manager, wanted to make sure she didn’t feel left out! As a single mom, this was more than a gesture and they are loving their dinner as we are winding down from a night of activities. Food is great and hope they save me a bite! “I passed by this place every time I went to HEB and decided to finally give this place a try tonight. I had never had arepas before, so the servers kindly helped me pick out a menu. We ended up having their fried cheese sticks, arepa with hand-made cheese, and grilled beef (I think). The arepas were kinda hard to eat with hands, but I liked it a lot! I honestly think I will have a bowl or something I can just use fork or spoon to eat with next time, but I will definitely try this place again. It was a nice late-night snack with tables outside.“

So that is why I write this review: to remind myself what this monument to human folly is. It is the lotus flower that I cannot resist. And it causes me to forget.

Should one day one of God's warriors cast its gaze upon this Arby's, the earth would convulse. The ground would open up and swallow the Arby's in its entirety. “Very good experience at El Mango Loko in Katy. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great friendliness, and they took the time to explain the flavors and the different menu options.

We tried two raspas and absolutely loved them. What stood out the most was the fruit flavor: it tastes fresh, natural, and very well balanced. You can definitely tell the difference compared to a raspa made simply with artificial syrups.

The place is simple, casual, and cozy, but with something much more important: great product and excellent service.

We left very satisfied and looking forward to coming back to try other items on the menu. A great discovery in Katy and definitely a place I recommend“
