“When I’m in houston i’m always bigging my back. I made the drive to this food truck and it exceeded my expectations. Food was made to order but I called ahead for a headstart. Food came out piping hot and fresh and didn’t take long at all! I had the honey garlic dry rub fried chicken wings, regular chicken wings, and fried catfish & shrimp. I sampled all 3 dishes and it was phenomenal. Seasoned and fried to perfection! Would highly recommend and will be back again!“

“I've been wanting to stop by here for some time and they did not disappoint! You order at the counter, receive a number, and have a seat while they prepare your order. Service was fast and the food was delicious. We had the empanada flight...All of them were great! We had the oxtails with sweet potatoes and greens. The oxtails were very well seasoned and super tender. The greens and sweet potatoes remind you of those an old country grandmother would make for Sunday dinner. We also got the grilled fish and shrimp. It was tasty , too, but the oxtails were definitely my favorite. We've already been back and I'm sure we'll go back again. I highly recommend if you're in the mood for some good southern comfort food.“
“Mr Steve and Mrs Elizabeth treated me like family from the first time I met them.. the food is awesome, after getting my order I just couldn't wait to get home and eat.. they craft everything from scratch, I got to watch my dish being put together, great family, good fun place to eat, they really go out of their way to make their customers happy with the food.. “Came here with a friend of mine and all I can say is wow. I'm still sitting here full from the catfish and shrimp basket. I would have taken a picture but most of it is gone. Food was good. Red koolaid tasted good too, not all super sweet like some of these places. The customer service here is great, super friendly and even cracked a few jokes with us. Great little mom and pop for lunch or dinner. I'll be back..“
“Services is superior because the cook greets you with a hug. I purchased the chitterlings and pig feet with cornbread dressing and macaroni and cheese. It was delicious. The second time I went, I had pig feet. This is definitely the best homecooking and soul food that I have had in Houston.“

“Well, it took 3 attempts (different days) to actually receive this order for 11:45 a.m. & 12:00 p.m. D&L canceled three (3) times because the TOGO order was still cooking. Door Dash could not wait, so they canceled the delivery.I enjoy the Turkey Wings. They are always tender and seasoned. The gravy was delicious, and the cornbread was a winner. I will still order. This is two (2) meals for me. I will bet it weighs 3+ lbs. Delivered piping hot!“
“Such a good place. 2 plates cost less than $20 and the chicken was fresh off the fryer. Chicken wings and stripes were the best I've ever had. The pancakes were so fluffy and soft. Definitely will be back soon. Make sure to order I'm advance because it did take 40 minutes to get our food, but it was worth every minute.“

Oxtail macaroni and cheese or oxtail macaroni and cheese sandwich, oh this is true comfort food for the Soul. Settle in on a basket of catfish or the amazing honey chicken wings and feel yourself. I have tried many food items that is great .they give more than enough food to share with two or eat the other half of the food for later. “What a beautiful establishment. The food was so good. Friendly as well as helpful staff. For what I ordered, which was baked fish with a creamy sauce and shrimp, 2 sides, banana pudding, cornbread and water. It ran me 23.00 plus tip. It was worth every penny. I do recommend this restaurant if you're ever in the area. Also has a full stocked bar.ENJOY!!!?P.S. I had to get a to go box. Everything is homemade, daily“

“This is a really neat place! Came in town with my family and they wanted to try a new restaurant they heard about. We loved everything but had some disconnect with the catfish . They were so pleasant and willing to re-make. Even after the re-make we still didn’t like and they offered us to change our order which was very accommodating. The young lady never stopped smiling or being helpful. The cashier kept checking on us and even the owner came out to apologize. We expressed our concerns and he was he very willing to listen. He was super nice and very professional. This place deserves everything and more for exemplify such great service!“
“I had a great experience with Creole Flava. Customer Service was great and the food was amazing! They catered our school for a group upwards of 80 people. We had plenty of enough food and everyone enjoyed the meal/atmosphere. A special thanks to Ms. Sheila for making the process seamless and helping us along the way. She was amazing!“

I’ve work for this company for 2.5 years now; like I joke with the owner like you gone have to bury me in my TGS fit ?, bc I’m here to stay for a long time. Working for him and beside him; you’ll gain a lot of knowledge RESTURANT wise and personal wise; this man will give you his shirt or jacket off his back! If you lacking in any area of the restaurant or personal life he will step in 100 percent to make sure you got what you need to succeed outta life totally. He gives back to the community; one year he blessed a customer with a CAR for Mother’s Day; have events for the kids as well too. This owner is not just an owner he goes beyond for his staff and for the customer as well. It’s always a MANAGER or LEAD on site at all times. Despite the negative reviews this company is great company to work for. He is one owner that gives back to his community; what company pays you a good wage and don’t check BACKGROUND. “My wife was craving pupusas but I was craving pollo asado so we ordered both.The pupusas were big and stuffed with cheese. The curtido had the perfect “pickled” taste. The salsa was tasty with a kick!The pollo asado plate fed us both and we had enough left over for a second round each. The pollo asado was very flavorful and the smoked sausages were a nice surprise. The rice was good and the charro beans were delicious. They had a good amount of sausage and bacon in them.“
“This is a very hole in the wall, no frills restaurant. It is very old school and you order and take your food to go. Seems like one of the few actual late night places (closes at 3am). The owner, I assume ms betty, has a very get shit done attitude, which I enjoyed. She RUNS the restaurant and will tell you what's up. I'm sure her attitude can be off putting but she chatted with me and gave my partner and I free sodas. Turns out she's an immigrant from Macau and had been in Houston for 35 years, so hats off to her! Foodwise, they have burgers, wings, and various dinner platters all at very affordable prices. I got chili cheese fries and a hamburger and both were excellent. The fries were crisp with nacho cheese sauce and chili on top and the burger was very large and tasty. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to when I have cravings in the middle of the night!“
“From Fl and while visiting for the Houston rodeo, I stopped in at Frenchy's and that was by far some of the best chicken I've ever had !! I always order my drink without ice and idk what type of magical fountain they have, but the fruit punch was extremely cold and I love that !!“

They were out of the hazy and only had I think three available on draft. They were out of some bottled beers too.Great view, cool decor, and my omlette was excellent. The grits were tasty, too. I had the 3 meat omlette, My son had the burger with avacado.Excellent considering it is airport food. Good music too“
“I came on Easter Sunday. The restaurant was packed and Mama herself was a little busy but she handled each guest with grace and care. Though there was a wait, we all patiently waited for our food and it came out hot and delicious. My fried pork chops smothered in gravy were so delicious, just like my Nana used to make them. I’ll be back next Sunday.“

“I was craving grits and I'm picky about grits. They were so good! I also got the chicken and waffle sandwich. The chicken was thick and juicy and the waffle was perfectly cooked. And it had crispy bacon. Not floppy bacon. I got it delivered to my airport office and it showed up hot and enough food for lunch too. Definitely ordering again!“
