Soul Good restaurant & bar is a hidden gem located in the cut of a small shopping center. The restaurant is clean and perfectly spaced, with a great atmosphere that is a total vibe. The customer service is great, with friendly and professional staff. The food is so delicious, fresh, and well put together. The fried fish and pork chop have a perfect crunch and are so well seasoned. The mac and cheese is sooo very cheese and flavorful, and the greens have just the right amount of back end kick. The cornbread is also a highlight. All protein is made to order and fresh, with immaculate side dishes. The catfish tastes like it just came out the grease and is seasoned perfectly. The music selection is a 10/10, and there are games available while waiting for food. This is an excellent Soul Food Spot inspired by 87th Chi-City, with huge portions. It is black owned and top tier. Prices are not bad. Run, don’t walk. Word around the Deep Fryers and Ovens is that a full bar with Hookah will be added soon.
