My experience here was amazing. Food was delicious. Drinks are good. Music good. Service is good. I love my people. Thank your a great time.
We made reservations for 11am but the place did not open the doors until 11am. We could only reserve for one and half hours so this cut into our time as we still had to wait to be seated. Then we had to move again as our table was rocking.
Food was tasty and drinks were good and strong. However, they automatically charged a service fee of $11 that could not be explained, plus a 12% gratuity on our bill.

Love this place! I’ve been so many times. The food is good. I’ve never had something I didn’t like from here. Drinks good and strong. Hookah good. Listen to the waiters recommendations. I ordered something I don’t usually eat based on a recommendation from a waiter and LOVED it. Will always come back here.

Based on the reviews, Gotti’s Restaurant is a soul food spot in Houston offering real comfort food with a modern vibe. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, and everything tastes homemade. The red velvet waffles are soft and flavorful, and the fish is of exceptionally high quality. The menu is very affordable, and the management is accommodating for large group dining events. The vibe is nice and unmatched, with bingo and music for entertainment, though it feels like a club that serves food and is not kid friendly on Saturday nights. However, parking is a major issue, and service can be inconsistent. Some customers experienced long waits, such as 40 minutes for 12 wings, and unprofessional behavior from staff, including a male server with sagging pants. One reviewer noted lamb chops were fatty and expensive at $42 for three. While some received attentive service, others felt ignored. Despite this, many recommend the restaurant for brunch and soul food in Houston.
