Food was great! Place kinda small but who cares, you going for the taste! The chicken and catfish were very good. Ill have to go back for pork chops and oxtails but the first experience was top tier.

I ordered the smothered “steak” and it wasn’t steak at all. It was just a smothered hamburger patty. It tasted good but I wasn’t expecting it to be a hamburger patty covered in gravy….Ive eaten at other soul food places and they serve real steak smothered with rice and gravy. I would’ve ordered something else if I knew it wasn’t gonna be an actual steak
