Old school joint serving real food and not gimmick food. Hearty meals prepared fresh daily.The staff here was on point with service, the prices are fair in these ridiculous times and you get quality plates not struggle plates... Even the cornbread was prepared by a soul food professional. When you walk in this spot, expect nothing less than A+ service like the south was known for in the Renaissance Days.
1 of my favorites for their food plates & all of the best meat cutters in town. Also the meat packs & meat are the best prices & freshest as well. Come here at least 5 times a month. ??☝?

It's always a hit or miss at this location. Mesa's location is so much cleaner and friendlier. Food wasn't as fresh as it normally be and the workers there always have an attitude. Could be so much better if the staff was a little more friendlier.
