Treebeards is fantastic - I have been going for years, and the food is consistently very good (both quality and taste). The salads, main courses, sides and desserts are all great - a few of my favorites are the salads (with vinaigrette), the étouffée, the baked and the fried chicken, the chicken and sausage gumbo, the squash casserole, and the brownies!
I went to Treebeards on Katy Freeway @ Bunker Hill after volunteering at an Astros Foundation event at Silver Street Studios.
The jambalaya and red beans and rice were Delicious. I would have the lunch chicken fried steak & dirty rice again. My favorites were definitely the Yellow Cake with Chocolate icing, and the Butter Cake!!!!

Food is decent and fresh. Service is very friendly a nice. The location is good in the tunnels. It has good old school music and is very clean. My only gripe is prices are very expensive for a lunch spot. It’s nice one in a while to treat yourself.
