“I stopped by today and ordered the chopped beef sandwich, Texas hot link sandwich, and a sausage sandwich along with the tea cakes and a slice of sock it to me cake. They give good portions of the meat. You will definitely be full afterwards. The sausage was very good and had the perfect amount of sauce on it. The Texas hot link was flavorful and a must try. The chopped beef sandwich was very good also. The sock it to me cake was the perfect sweet ending. You get a good size slice that’s big enough to share. The tea cakes were very good also. The prices were very reasonable and I got my moneys worth. I will definitely be back.“
“Good tasting BBQ with a variety of items on the menu. Large seating interior and decent parking. The prices are average for BBQ. Self-serve fountain drinks with free refills. Private event room available for rent. I got the chopped baked BBQ potato, it was big and more than enough to satisfy a hungry guy.“
“Stopped in and I was pleasantly surprised. For a chain bbq joint the food is pretty solid. I ordered the brisket and sausage plate with potato salad and beans. Brisket was nice and tender and the sausage was good. I guess my only gripes were the potato salad had a few more onions than I care for and I’m not a fan of sweet barbecue sauce. The baked bread is good, they actually have someone come around the tables with a basket of warm bread. But overall the service was great and bbq was good for a chain joint (imo better than Rudy’s)“
“Boogies catered my employee appreciation day and it was nothing short of amazing. We had brisket, sausage, smoked chicken, Mac and cheese (just to name a few). My employees absolutely loved it. They were highly upset when the Mac and cheese was gone (I guess I didn’t order enough lol) and they said the brisket was the best brisket they had ever had. I have a lot of employees and many of them are not from Houston and they all said the food was absolutely delicious. My event was for over 200 employees. I gave them the number and they gave their recommendation which was perfect (well, except for the macaroni I guess lol). 10/10 will definitely recommend Boogies for any catering/cooperate events. They definitely have what it takes to make the people and their belly’s smile. I almost forgot the desserts…they were definitely a hit…the sweet potato bars, lemon bars and brownies. All of them are delicious“
