One of the very few times I felt that a restaurant deserved to have a positive review without them asking for it. Went there on a recommendation and was completely blown away by the service and food. Excellent brisket, turkey, and beans. The meat didn't need to be smothered in BBQ sauce, it was that flavorful and juicy!

Based on the reviews, Levant BBQ is a family-owned and operated restaurant offering halal TX style BBQ with a Mediterranean twist. The environment is extremely clean and well presented. The staff is super welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely delicious, with all meats being unfathomably tender. Favorites include the brisket, which is moist, incredibly tender, and so soft you didn’t even need a knife. The ribs and jalapeño sausage are also phenomenal, and the chicken with garlic/toum is a yummy new addition. Sides like the potato salad are top tier. The menu is a bit pricy, with entrees costing $20-30, though cheaper options under $10 are available. A toppings bar includes pickles, onions, and two different barbecue sauces. They offer family meal options and even have a mini soft-serve ice cream machine for dessert. While the restaurant is a really nice spot with plenty of seating, one reviewer noted a vehicle break-in in the parking lot despite private security. Overall, Levant is the best halal BBQ in Houston and is highly recommended.
