I called to check if Dave was serving food because he is a roadside, weekend vendor who barbecues in a parking lot. He was on his way to buy more meat to cook, so I put in a request for beef ribs and chicken. Later, Dave called me to give me a heads up when the food was going to be ready. I ordered the chopper brisket and I did not regret it. The sauce was bomb. The service was very friendly and helpful with getting to know menu. The potato skins were also delicious. The location is in a tucked away part of Houston Heights about 10-15 mins from Downtown but certainly worth the drive when you make it. Also down the street from a cool brewery hall. Overall, a 5 star experience!
