“The vibe was good, as well as service. But the food is ordinary, we ordered Karnivore platter. Based on the quality and taste of the food, this place is overpriced. Cocktails taste good but a little bit expensive. Overall, it was okay.Parking: $7 valet parking“
“This used to be our go to restaurant for birthdays and other occasions, however, we stopped going as much after the service and food seemed to be declining. My son wanted to go for his birthday and we were so happy we did. We had a wonderful lunch for my son's birthday, service was excellent as was the food.“
“It was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and it was awesome! It’s $30.95 per person for dinner and it all you can eat. Tables can’t be occupied for longer than 2 hours. There’s a ton of different options to choose from and while we had our favorites, everything we had was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.“
“It's my 3rd time here. This time i went to celebrate my husband's birthday. I love that they use charcoal for you to cook the food. The many sides provided alone is already alot. One of the best Korean BBQ places in Houston and the price is not that bad either.“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Hongdae 33 Korean BBQ, an all-you-can-eat gem in the heart of Houston. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the get-go, the array of flavors and dishes on offer was impressive, providing an authentic taste of Korean cuisine. The quality of the meats was top-notch, with a wide variety to choose from, ensuring every bite was as delicious as the last. What stood out was the staff's dedication to service, ensuring our plates were never empty and our questions never unanswered. Hongdae 33 has mastered the balance between quantity and quality, making it a must-visit for any Korean BBQ aficionado or anyone looking to delve into the rich flavors of Korea. Highly recommended!“

“One of the better AYCE KBBQ spots in Houston. The dinning area is very large so we've never had trouble seating and we’ve never felt rushed like some other places. They have a button you can push and a waitress will quickly come to take your order for more meat. While there are a lot of options you can self-serve like the bulgogi and spicy pork, the better options are ordered. The beef tongue is my favorite. Beef belly, pork belly, pork cheeks, galbi and beef brisket are all good too. One lesser known option is the pineapple galbi, it's a relatively large cut of meat and the pineapple is great grilled. We like to order the pineapple separately as first dessert before the ice cream.Parking: Large lot in the shopping center. There's always enough parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids 5-10 are $17.99, which isn't bad if they are closer to 10 and eat enough.“
“Been here a handful of time but I can confidently say that if you are looking for affordable, but still delicious, AYCE KBBQ, then Garosu is the spot in Bellaire. Solid choice for a day date, at night can get a little frustrating with understaffing. They had an amazing lunch special and the service was amazing. One thing that I was surprised to see they offered a lot of banchan which I actually like to see. If you have a bigger party and a reservation, they have these room in the back for you which I really enjoyed the rooms modest decor. Otherwise the main dining hall is very spacious, and dimmed. One thing that I did find a little uncomfortable was the tables. I am a taller person at 6' 2", so I am sort of used to it but their leg room is very limited, because of the grill, and got uncomfortable pretty quickly, but sitting alone obviously has all the space for yourself.“
“Danny made the whole meal worth the while. The food was good. I only wish the place was slightly brighter. Overall, it was pretty good. Danny was awesome! He was attentive and very well mannered! Service was just fantastic! From the staff from the front to the staff that cleared our dishes.“
“I was craving Korean food and I didn't want to drive all the way to the other side so I decided to give this place a try. I live close by and I always drive by this spot soooo.I actually am not a big fan of Korean bbq dining bc your entire body will smell like bbq after dining in.Walking in, I thought it was interesting bc it was totally a american brunch spot vibes not a kbbq vibe. They have areas specifically for bbq, and then the bar, the dining room and the outside patio.I personally really liked this layout. Their menu has a lot to choose from, mix of Korean food, Japanese and other American plates.I got the bulgogi rice cakes (spicy) and it was so good! It wasn't spicy spicy but it still have some spice to it. You can always go with mild. The flavor and portions were great. The egg on top really helped bc it was quite strongly seasoned. I ended up ordering a bowl of rice to eat with the leftover bulgogi. It was delicious.Overall I can see myself coming to this place again. Customer service was good and everyone was welcoming. They have separate parking lot which is great. Cool murals.“
“I love coming here, the food is mostly always in great quality. I come here at least once a month and it's such a good time and place to eat with big groups of people -- if not, just yourself is good too. Many of the staff are friendly and it's such a fun and inviting place to jam to kpop and eat delicious food.“
“The reviews on the kimchi is true, one of the best I’ve had from a Korean restaurant. The atmosphere clean and the service is very kind and attentive. The portions are huuge! I actually accidentally came here because I typed in the wrong directions for a different Korean restaurant but decided to take a risk since I saw that this restaurant was rated highly. Let’s just say I won’t be going to the other restaurant anymore and will be coming here for my Korean cravings from now on!!!“
“One of our favorite food places when we visit Houston. The service is always immaculate but the food is the star of this review. Everything is always so well seasoned and you have a lot of variety to choose from. The servers always stay on top of when your grill needs to be changed. Each order comes with enough meat and the side dishes are yummy. My favorite thing to get on the side is the kimchi soup.“
“It’s been 10 years since I’ve had Korean barbecue. The last time, being a very small shop in LA, Which is cramped and very noisy, but the food was excellent. In comparison, this shop exceeds on all of those levels. The booths were spacious and comfortable, the service by our waiter Pete was excellent, it was quiet (which is sad in a way as more people should know about this place), and the food was most enjoyable (I highly recommend the pineapple steak). With a buffet we were able to quickly get the food we wanted, So we could sit down and cook it over the grill in the table, Pete even was able to quickly replace the grill plate on ours when it got too messy with out food. All in all I enjoyed the experience and can say I will be coming again.“
“My favorite place if you want authentic Korean BBQ ... it's a must to go here. The Staff as well as the owner will always help you out if you don't know what to do . There amazing people! So if you do try a Korean bbq I recommend this one. Try there all you can eat ! If you don't mind spice you need to try there 떡볶이 (spicy rice cake )“
“Staff was very welcoming, it was our first time having Korean bbq. A gentleman who worked there even helped us cook and showed us how to combine the meat with the sides for enhanced flavors. Food was delicious and we really enjoyed the ambiance. We’ll be back!“
“We absolutely loved this restaurant. They use charcoal grills and the sides are refillable. My favorite were the rice cakes. The fried dumplings were crunchy and delicious. We got the triple combo and it was a good amount of food for two people. We also tried the octopus stir fry and it was great. The price is fair for the amount of food you get. There are individual booths that provide a lot of privacy. The staff was friendly and inviting.“
