The aroma of sizzling meats on the grill immediately whetted my appetite. The highlight of the evening was, of course, the mouthwatering selection of meats. “I found a recommendation for this restauraunt off of Reddit and I can that I was pretty impressed. It was comfortable and the servers were doing a great job bringing out the meats so we could cook. We ordered off the Premium menu which has many choices of cuts of meats. I think our favorite meats were the Short Ribs, Steak, Shrimp, and some of the Pork Belly. The only thing I would probably mention is that some of the cuts of meat could have been thinner or pre cut so it could be easier to cook. Our server gracially took it upon himself to cut it up for us which was much appreciated. The chicken and pork galbi took up alot of time to cook. We also enjoyed several different appetizers like the Tteokbokki, Glass Noodles, and Chicken Karaage, Spring Rolls which all tasted great. They also provided all of the different side dishes which was much appreciated. Everything tasted great and you won't go hungry here. Will definitely come back when I'm craving KBBQ. “I just don't give 5 ⭐️s to any restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere have to be EXTREMELY delicious, consistent, and vibrant. We ordered the #4 spicy pork belly, #7 beef brisket, and #11 LA beef rib. Everything was perfect! Our food was cooked at our table to our specifications, and the condiments were on point. The cook/waitstaff was very knowledgeable and attentive. This place is top-notch, trendy, family-friendly, and definitely cozy for two. NOTE: My date and I ordered 3 entrees, which drove the per person cost to $30-$50. If we ordered just 2, it would've ranged between $20-$30. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Good afternoon everyone! We attended Gen Korean BBQ House in Houston, Tx on Friday 7/5/2023. My family And I were in for a visit from Louisiana and decided to eat here for a couple of reasons; Reason 1: My daughter and I have a very severe allergy to Iodine/Seafood so we're very very limited to what we can eat but with Korean BBQ we can pick out meats and safely cook it on a grill that hasn't been exposed to any seafood products! Reason 2: We don't have very many, if any Korean BBQ spots in Lake Charles, La and we absolutely love this food. So we chose to go to Gen Korean BBQ but to our surprise our hostess/waitress was Extremely rude! not just once or twice but, throughout the whole dining experience! My fiance requested another waiter or waitress after speaking to the manager but nothing was done besides him saying he would speak to the rude waitress, that's unacceptable so we quietly left! I'm not sure if she was having a bad night or this is generally how she acts but where I'm from this is not acceptable and speaks volumes about her character!“

“This place has become a must do for our family. Relaxed atmosphere to hang out. The staff is always super friendl; The only issue is that sometimes they take a long time to come to the table (especially when we need the check). The food is always good. We have tried several dishes and they never dissapoint.“

The wait staff is so friendly and I really enjoyed having Victor cook everything for me. Mama Ann is just the sweetest and made me feel like family. I’m a customer for life!“
