“Generous portions and very hearty. I had the turkey & brisket. Not overbearing with seasoning or salt, the flavor of the meat comes through. Unique BBQ sauce, not sugary. Loved the music in the background also, there were some classic R&B tunes that I haven't heard before which were obviously curated from someone who lived in the era.“

She did recommend us getting spicy before the extra spicy And very glad she suggested it. It’s byob but they have sodas and waters ! “This place was great from the atmosphere to the gentleman in the back who is bringing me my food The pulled pork sandwich was on point the barbecue sauce was amazing. The only complaint I have i have Is with the lady at the front counter. First of all, she does not look happy to be there or happy to be serving anybody she talks to you in such a manner that it borderline rude or she’s annoyed that you are there. Lady here’s a tip when somebody smiles and says thank you smile back and say you’re welcome. Hopefully the owner reads these because I’m telling you right now she’s bad for business.“
“I enjoy eating here. My sister was in the hospital so my brother and I stopped to eat here on our way home. Neither of us had eaten the whole day and it was nearly 9 pm.The waitress was so sweet. Very respectful in true southern style with Yes ma'am 's and sirs. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items. This is the first time, in three years, I've enjoyed the kindness of our waitress. The food was excellent as well. Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. The salad was fresh, crispy and delicious. I'm not much for rolls either but this night their rolls were warm, soft, and delicious. I did ask for regular butter. I don't care for cinnamon butter. They were happy to substitute. The unsweet tea was perfect too. I truly enjoyed my meal. The ambiance rating was based on me being tired and I just didn't care for all the noise. They couldn't help that so the rating shouldn't reflect badly on them.I hope this review helps. They do have handicap parking and restrooms, also they're fine with you taking home leftovers.This was also the first time in four years of visiting that my table was clean and we didn't have to ask for them to clean it better.They do have high chairs and alcohol is served here.“

“I’ve eaten here 3 times within the last 2 weeks and each time has been spot on. Everything is made fresh and the service is always amazing. The smoked wings are so good! Tasted like a mixture between Buffalo and bbq sauce. Wally good smoky flavor. The ribs were good as well, the brisket was juicy and the Turkey was so tender and juicy! The cornbread is delicious, the creamed corn is delicious, even the banana pudding the top it off was really good. Definitely a hidden gem in deer park!“
