“10 of us arrived on a Monday night around 7:00, we the owner found out it was our first time there (we are from Louisiana) he gave us samples of brisket and sausage, it was so good. We ordered our food and it came out in a timely manner and we had to get boxes to take out leftovers. We will definitely go back when we visit the area again.“

“While I always recommend Kat’s Bbq to everyone I will say I hope the new owners start recognizing the flavor of the brisket is not what it was. It’s still super good but I worry it’s gonna keep slipping. Love that new things are being added. I’ve really enjoyed the pork belly burnt ends. The guy that works the counter though needs to stop trying to be like Andy. He’s coming off very rude at times. I had to stop my husband from us walking out because he asked what happened to the root beer and the guy was pretty crappy about it. A simple we had to get rid of it because it just wasn’t working out for us would’ve been fine but instead we got an attitude.“

“This Rudy's Country Store and BBQ is a great place for moist brisket or your favorite choice of meats. The sides are super delicious as well especially the potato salad! The atmosphere is very comfortable and cozy also. If this is going to be your first time dining here rest assured that the associates will walk you through everything as you order. I highly recommend this BBQ place for your next meal. Note: the food is not brought in cooked and then served. This is all cooked on site. As were leaving, I glanced over to the side of their building and saw the opening where the wood is stored and where everything is cooked at. Nice setup!“

“The meat was dry and a bit bland. The brisket was a weird square shape as well, usually it's shaped like bacon. The meat tasted like it was cooked in an oven and then finished on the smoker.

They had an all you can eat (AYCE) option as well but the normal 2 meat portion was more then plenty.

The people were super friendly, the portions were good and the atmosphere was nice so overall I would go back if I was nearby but I wouldn't drive out of my way.

One more thing, be prepared to smell like a smokehouse if you eat inside.“

“The BBQ and food is great and full of flavor. Service was a little off because they did mess up an order but were very prompt in fixing it. Atmosphere is comfortable and their is seating for small families as well as large groups without difficulty.“

“I live just 5 minutes down the road and have never been here until RocknClassics Music School gave a performance today that my grandboys were in. I'd been wanting to try it and decided to try several things I usually crave. I ordered the Hamburger Steak, steak fries and onion rings. Wow! The hamburger steak tasted just like steak! Not just a hamburger patty like most places. This hits all the buttons! No fat, no gristle, easy to cut, large portion and cooked just right. I couldn't believe the steak flavor. It's a great alternative for little kids that want a steak and people like me who don't want to fight with our food. The unique steak fries are wonderful (like Disneyland's) and onion rings are actually homemade. I won't be wasting my money at other places. The kid's meal portions were plentiful and the grilled cheese was actually a homemade grilled cheese😋. Not some plastic cheddar on artisan bread. Brian, our server, was very attentive and friendly. We appreciate they allow the music students to come perform, it's a great experience for them and creates lots of good memories.🥰 This is my favorite go-to from now on.😊“

“The food is amazing. I love grilling the meat. The freshly grilled meat tastes amazing. I love the crazy noodles that you can order. I love meat. I get my fill of meat. The atmosphere sucks. They have this loud, awful music. It gets on my nerves. The music is annoying. I just order beef at this restaurant. I don't order chicken. I love the beef.“

“Spend 70 dollars on take out for lunch . After trying the brisket and link platter I had to go get COVID tested . I thought I had lost my sense of taste but it was the food. From the potato salad to the the beans , it’s like they cooked it in a dish washer and used salt as detergent . I don’t recommend this place although the staff was cool“

“Held a group meeting here. The staff we're very nice and friendly. The food was very well prepared and was pretty good though I thought a little pricey. They had a nice meeting room that was separated from the restaurant so didn't even notice when the restaurant got super busy.“

“Looks like they may have lost their sign in a storm, so aim for the Indian supermarket next door!!GREAT food, but just getting started as a restaurant. This used to be Star Grill and I expect under new management. The staff were very friendly/helpful and the food was GREAT.There was not such a variety of menu choices as I might expect (e.g. no potato/cauliflower type dishes), but what we had tasted wonderful.The atmosphere is a work-in-progress, I hope they lose the canned sodas and refrigerator machines in favor of a more traditional style dine-in restaurant.Unusual to see a table-tennis table in the corner, but I expect it may be a leftover from the previous version of this place.The butter chicken was perfect, the biryani wonderful - but be conscious that some chicken dishes have bone-in chicken pieces.Go for the food, not the decor!“
