“Went here back it was 6 wards. The lady behind the bar, Katie, was absolutely incredible. Super friendly and welcoming. The have a good Red ale and some good IPAs. There's lots of shirts and glasses to choose from. I'd recommend just about anything on their menu as well. Again can't say enough good things about Katie. Would definitely recommend swinging amd will return.”

“Tried them out today and let me tell you something, I will be a lifelong customer. My wife and I sat outside in perfect weather and had the chicken and waffles. There was a little wait but it was very well worth it! The wings were really, really good. Seasoned very well, and the perfect crispiness. The waffles were good, but the sauce is the magic! And you CANNOT LEAVE THE RESTAURANT WITHOUT TRYING THE FRIED BISCUITS! They come with some of that magic sauce too. You WILL NOT regret trying them - or you may. Because you will want more. Try this place out - you will thank me later.”

“I reserved the Emmitte Room to host a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents. I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. Brandice was the lead server the evening of the party and she was the ultimate professional and added so much value to an already amazing evening! Thank you to Doug, Brandice and the rest of the team for helping me to pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without you all. (The room was stunning and the food was out of this world!)”

“We are out doing some craft brewery tastings and stopped in at Backyard Brewery, nice small place with a what looks like a good regular crowd. We had the West Coast IPA, one of the best I've had in a while! Rich in color and lots of flavor. Service was great, we got a chance to taste (sample) a few before selecting the West Coast. Love supporting small businesses and this is one worth a stop.”

“I love coming to this restaurant. I have been coming here for over two years and they never disappoint. As soon as you walk in they greet you and it's typically self-seat. They also have outdoor seating which is nice to have on a nice day. They have daiquiris that taste really good and are great on a hot day. The restaurant is not that large which is nice. It has a great mural on the wall which is nice for pictures. And they have a few tvs hanging up. I really love this place.”

“Have been coming to sesame house for over 10 years and have always had an amazing experience and delicious food! Everyone who works there offer nothing but the best service and the chefs in the kitchen only send out amazing food. I cannot recommend this place enough. One of the best Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants I have ever been to.Parking: Parking is usually never an issue, unless it is during the Festival of Lights”

“Had a dinner here in October on a Texas trip. Water is around 97 cents if you want it for a meal. Had 3 enchiladas verdes which includes rice + beans. Good portion size and was not super hot. Place was pretty crowded on Sunday night with what appeared to be local. Overall, good mom and pop restaurant.”

“Aun is doing something right. This is the quintessential hometown donut shop that not only delivers delicious food, but a sense of community and camaraderie. The sweet smell of fresh donuts hits you instantly upon entering. Don’t get me wrong, this place is no frills; what you see is what you get, but what you get is damn good. The kolaches are pillowy soft and the donuts melt in your mouth. I understand why their parking lot is always full whenever I drive by.”

“This is one of the better barbecues in the southern Houston to Galveston area. I had half pound of brisket and a half pound of jalapeno sausage and both were terrific. It is the best brisket I have tried on this side of Texas. The barbecue sauce is a little mild for my liking but is tangy and good, I added jalapenos to my order from the bar and it was fine.Thry keep two BBQ sauces in kettles at the condiment bar, which is nice. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful, even the manager went around and asked how people's food was and if there was anything else we needed or that he could get us. The environment is country western and has comfortable seating. Definitely a five-star restaurant I would recommend this to anybody.Dietary restrictions: Keto, carnivore, lion.”

I really love the food at Fish Place but this is quite the turnoff and I doubt if we ever order from this location again.”

“I love this place. The food is always amazing. Today we stopped in for lunch. I had a tempura handroll - excellent! The Masa Tower, my go to. An order of spring rolls, side of kimche and fried rice came home as I was full from the tower. It is all so good and fresh. Service is great as well, attentive without hovering. “Novelli's is right across from my mechanic All American Automotive so i went over to grab a beer and wait for my ride to pick me up. it's a very tiny unassuming store front that looks like a converted house. when i walked in the first thing that hit me was cigarette smoke, it has been a verrrrrrry long time since i've been in a bar that allows smoking!! i guess it's not ordinance in Dickinson. I came in anyway, and the place was pretty full for a Weds night! the bar was full of regulars with their family members watching news and tv game shows. beers were CHEAP ($2-3) and the service was friendly. so were the regulars, they were happy to let me engage them in conversation! they've got a bunch of gaming machines and darts. the bar also has food, but i didn't order anything. might be back for crawfish though! this is the homiest and most authentic dive bar i've ever been in. minus one star for the smoke but hey, the regulars dig it so that's a personal thing. i'll probably be back! ps beer only!”

“The lady let me hold up the line for im not kidding 10 minutes at 7AM I would've been so annoyed if I were her and I swear I was not trying to be annoying I just never go to Starbucks and had no idea what I wanted. Then she recommended a drink to me after letting me tell her what I didn't want which again was amazing of her, THEN my card doesn't work so she gave me the drink FOR FREE! I am in awe of how amazingly she handled all that! Not to mention the drink is amazing!”

“My family celebrated (11 of us) my nephew's birthday. Our server was great (wish we got her name). Prices are reasonable. Food and portions were large and delicious. Food came out quickly. “exterior looks great from afar but once you drive up, you notice this is not your ordinary seafood place. Upon entering, i looks like they've just started their business from the tables & chairs, to the counter....something is just out of place. Then, you order and your food comes out in a timely fashion with a great smile by the wait staff. And, you're digging into your food because of the great smell. The interior is not much to look at but whomever is cooking in the back knows exactly what you want and how to deliver!!”
