I drove by this place for years and never knew that I was missing out on ALOT . I was missing the down home Louisiana cooking and the friendliest of the staff .Including the owner . It reminded me of home . If you need a reason to go this is it . You will not be disappointed. My stomach and soul was full !!!!”

“First time. Got enchiladas. We’re out of chile carne sauce, wasn’t offered chips/salsa, but another table had, so I asked. Said they were saving them, it was the last of them? But she did get me some after I asked. Super friendly, but not organized . I’d asked for queso but she didn’t hear that. So I didn’t get once meal came, I said never mind on queso. Sign on door said hiring, so I figured she was new. I’d asked about some bakery items, she didn’t know. Said they had a new baker? Anyways. I live close. I liked what I ate. I will go back”

“I have been eating here for so many years. The Best Catfish in the Greater Houston/Galveston area. I have since moved away from Dickinson, but I come to see Ms. Lily once a month and still get the "All You Can Eat Catfish." A MUST when in the area or traveling to Galveston. 5 stars all the way...they treat you like family.”

“Seriously the best pizza we’ve ever had. It was piping hot and the toppings were generous. The grandkids wanted chicken alfredo pasta. It wasn’t on the menu, but the owner made it for them! The owner was friendly and made our visit so enjoyable. There was even a Christmas themed photo backdrop behind the booth we sat in. So festive!🎄”

“This is a great bar with the best bartenders & manager ever. Bring your own bottle, they sell setups. They have wine and their beer is some of the coldest you'll have. Super friendly patrons are in here all the time.”

“Lacy welcomed us in, it was our first time visiting but definitely want be our last if we are back in the area. We were offered the protein donuts and they were delicious. The teas were great also and we tried some of the grapes which were great as a snack. We are familiar with loaded teas at Kingdom Fit Nation in Lake Charles and wanted to try some different flavors and she had some great choices to choose from.”

“OMGGGG! I have officially found my go to spot for Colombian hot dogs and hamburgers!! Another bonus they sell postobon soda! 🤤❤️😍 If you have not tried out these hot dogs and salchi papa you have to go ASAP! The food was absolutely amazing and they had wonderful customer service! I will definitely be returning to get some empanadas next! 🤩”

“I've only had the taco plate and gorditas so far but they were Soo good. The meat had so much flavor which is something lots of people miss on. So glad I found a place close by and I don't have to drive all the way to Houston now.”

“We ordered crawfish etoufe, salad, and hushpuppies, along with chicken gumbo, and coleslaw. Everything was great, but they were understaffed that day so the service was slow. There was only one person working the dining room, as well as take out, delivery pick-up, etc. This is very unusual, so we understood the circumstances. Service is always courteous and friendly. My husband had a sudden unrelated health incident during the meal, and the staff was quickly there to offer any assistance.”

“We order and eat here at least once a week. My sons favorite plate is here. Tonight I got charro beans and not refried and they forgot his cups. Anyone have picky kids by any chance? I called and the girl who answers, I asked to pick up the beans and chips tomorrow. Instead of taking care of these small little details she started telling me what I did wrong, I hung up. Do better business with your loyal customers. If it was me I wouldn’t mind but my kid literally has to have it this way to even enjoy his food.”

“Open 24hr awesome, have change machine awesome, have mega XL washers for LG blankets only cost $5 ??? and even a mega XL dryer ??????...the place is clean and quiet and there's a small vending machine with sodas and snacks... definitely a go-to place to do laundry in the area”
