“We’ve dined at Schafer’s several times & have always had an above average experience! Last Saturday we dropped a piece of jewelry down between the cracks on the patio & the manager was kind enough to unscrew the boards & retrieve it for us!! I just love this place & the staff. The Outrigger’s fish tacos are amazing! But also love the meatloaf, burger & key lime pie! Highly recommend!”

“We just had a Christmas party on Monday & everything went so smoothly. The staff was amazing & so was the food & drinks. The venue is beautiful also. We had 54 guests & they were all happy with their meals. We will do again next year! Highly recommend.”

“Came for the first time tonight and we are so disappointed we haven’t tried it sooner!! The fried pickles/mushrooms were a 10/10. The boneless wings were to die for and not your usual breaded wing. The chicken sandwhich with gravy, bacon, and garlic aoli was to die for!!! 10/10 all over!”

“Since moving to Texas eating at Pier 6 has been our favorite dining experience. The food was delicious and mirrored New Orleans finest. Chef Joe Cervantez culinary skills result in delicious food from appetizers, entree to desserts! Our waiter was extraordinary and was so kind and polite. The restaurant sits on Galveston Bay; hence the atmosphere is fun and lively along with a beautiful view.”

“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!”

“This spot has become our go to location for Tamales and tortillas. The Tamales are amazing. I am forever getting them for my office and now have everyone going there to get them as well. We have tried tamales everywhere because they are one of my families favorite items and we will not get them from anywhere else now. Give them a try - they are truly the BEST!!!!”
