“Our server was very good and knowledgeable. Did his job well. I had the Scallops and Shrimp Au Poivre, and it was so good!! The only thing is upstairs the views are obstructed by trees. I will ask for downstairs dining next time. They do have outdoor seating, but it was a bit Chilli. All in all, it was a very nice evening!”

“Flew in from Colorado, the land of beer. Our friends took us to their favorite brewery. The options of beer were vast, as the food options. Dilly the bartender was quick to get us our first beers, Scottish Ale, fantastic. At our table, Kristin took our order of a variety of food, all of which was great, bringing water for our friends dog, and perfectly attentive to our food and beer requests (the stouts are all epic). Lastly, special thanks to Frank (manager?), who made our visit all the more memorable and welcoming. We'll be flying back 100%. Well done GBB staff, cooks, and brew masters! Can't wait to return!!!”

“I ordered online right after getting gas at HEB on 96. A truck pulls in front of me and is taking a minute to order. I ordered at least 5 minutes prior, so I went around to the window cuz technically, I'm not cutting. I ordered first. I'm asked to pull forward, and then the truck pulls forward. We both get our food at the same time. I clocked in 3 minutes late for work. Thanks, Wendy's ! Also, it's fricking crazy that these combos are 12.00 bucks”

“We ordered the jalapeño cheddars for an appetizer and it was alright. They were extremely hot, temperature wise, bit nothing better than the frozen ones you can by at the groceries. Then we both ordered the Gyro plate which came with fries and man, that was the best gyro I've had in this area. The meat was fresh so it came out steaming with tomatoes and onions topped with the house tzatziki sauce. Everything went extremely well together, the fires well seasoned, we did have to add salt cause we like our fies salty. To end our meal, we ordered the Baklava which was very rich and not too sweet, we loved it! I usually have baklava where the honey overtakes most of the taste but it was subtly used in this case so you could actually enjoy the richness and flavor.The service wasn't bad but they do cook everything fresh so it does take a while for the orders to come out. The ambience was nice, the pictures to the tables really made you feel like you were in Greece. The smell of the restaurant took me out of Deer Park and Traight into Athens, we enjoyed our experience. Overall, we highly recommend and will definitely go back to try their other items. 9/10.”

“Great as always...but I have to specifically mention how awesome Nicolas was. Of course, every server we've had has been awesome, but Nicolas set himself on a higher level by his outgoing personality and professionalism. But it was athletic basketball abilities that really wowed the crowd. Yes, I said athletic abilities...So one of the many many kids that were "electronically entertained" (I'm not exaggerating...EVERY kid in that place had a phone or tablet captivating their robotic attention)...one of those kids wasn't paying attention and knocked over a syrup bottle. Nicolas caught that out of the corner of his eye, lept over to that table and snatched it just before hitting the ground and making a massive mess. He did this amazing rolling recovery off the floor, popped up and calmly placed it back on the table like nothing even happened!!!! Funny thing was, all of us that were there, saw it and were amazed..extept for one person...you guess who it was? Yep, the kid memorized by his electronic babysitter!! So sad. I digress. If you are looking for GREAT service, and possibly to see more of his athletic skills, ask for Nicolas...you won't be disappointed!!!”

“Our “Sunday Adventures” brought us to Athena’s Corner.We have been searching for authentic Mediterranean food since coming back from Israel that was a closer to home and without driving into Houston. Athena’s Corner is the best by far in this search.Edit2nd visit:We really liked our first selections from the 1st visit but wanted to try other selections from the menu.For appetizers, we tried the KeftedesMeatballs, Falafels & Dolmades Ladoregano.The meatballs were interesting but smaller portions than expected. The Falafels were small, slightly over cooked (maybe we are spoiled from our Israel trips) but had a good taste.For entrees we had Large Greek Salad with Gyro & Chick Pea Salad with Gyro.For dessert we had the Ravani which was amazing!First Visit:Everything from the appetizer to dessert was excellent.We ordered the Dolmades Ladoregano and Hummus for Appetizers.For main dishes, we ordered Chickpea Salad and the Gyro Plate.For dessert, we shared a Chocolate Mousse Cake.We will definitely be back soon!”

“I've been wanted to try this restaurant for quite a while and tonight we tried Fuji Ramen Bay Colony. It did not disappoint.E V E R Y T H I N G we ordered was amazing. Ivan, our server did a great job. He took my fish allergy seriously and did not scoff when I ordered sushi. I was able to enjoy the non fish sushi as well as the chicken karaage ramen. And to top it off, the check was only $105 for 3 adults including 4 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 alcoholic beverages. We will be back!”

“Our dinner here was excellent. We were able to get a seat right away. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere. I had the jerk chicken, plantains and greens. The jerk chicken was not too spicy and a nice portion. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The greens weren’t your typical greens. They were very flavorful and had pieces of red pepper which gave it a nice taste. The plantains were so good! My husband had the grilled snapper. The snapper was plated beautifully and tasted excellent. The assortment of Caribbean juices was also really fun to try. The Sorrel juice was my favorite, an absolute must. I was impressed with how healthy everything was. The restaurant was also very clean. We will definitely be regulars here.”

“My wife and I dined here on a Thursday evening, and were sat somewhat awkwardly across from a group of three women dining together. We were the only people in the restaurant. The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point. I think that I have decided that tasting menus just aren't my cup of tea, and I really prefer to go to a place where I can select exactly what I want.”

It's actually a relaxed and cozy spot with reasonably priced dishes, especially given the quality and portions.The service was outstanding; our waitress was extremely attentive.
