“I stopped by Barcena’s Mexican Cantina today on 2094 near 518 in League City, and let me tell you—I was not prepared for how good it was. 😅 This spot has seen a rotation of restaurants over the last five years, so I was a little hesitant. My husband and I were straight off the boat… dirty but clean… but still dirty in a clean kind of way. You get it. 😂 I’ve seen Birria tacos everywhere but had never actually tried them until today—and OH. MY. GOODNESS. My jaw hit the table. They were insanely delicious and officially my new obsession. I can already tell the cravings are coming. My husband ordered the crispy beef tacos and he absolutely loved them. The manager, Melissa, even stopped by our table and told us they serve breakfast all day. So yes, if we want Bellinis and pancakes at 9 PM, they’ll make them. And if we want fajitas at 9 AM? Done. That alone deserves a standing ovation. Our server. Denilson, was wonderful—kind, soft-spoken, and on top of everything. Truly a great experience from start to finish. Huge thank you to all the Bay Area food lovers who recommended this spot. We found a new favorite! 🌮❤️”

My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!”

“I’ve been reading review after review about this place and it was time for me to have a dine in experience. When I walked in I was greeted promptly and seated. The server was extremely attentive and took my drink order right away. I looked over the menu and there are so many wonderful options across the board. I knew what wanted and when she brought my drink I was ready to dive in. I ordered classic Vietnamese Spring Rolls and Meatball Pho’. The table is set with soup spoons, forks and chopsticks. They also have Siracha and Hoisin on the table. The Springs Rolls (pork) were delicious and put together perfectly and even cut in half to make it easier to eat. The peanut sauce was spot on and not too thick. Yummy Yummy. Now here comes the Pho, and it looked spot on. Beautiful glistening beef broth, piping hot with all the side accompaniments. The chef putting this together knows how to make Pho’. Absolutely delicious from every aspect. I’m a Pho’ snob and this is top 3 in Galveston or Harris County. Having a Vietnamese restaurant in League City is a huge plus, especially one as good as this. You truly are the Queen of Pho’. ❤️❤️”

He gave her a huge shout out at the restaurant and had our whole section singing- and brought her a delicious tres leches slice! We will definitely be back to specifically sit in his section!”

“Vulnerable moment: Since being diagnosed with gastritis, my health and diet has been turned upside down. Making plans in advance is impossible because I never know how sick i will be. I spend most of the day silently in pain and finding appetizing things to eat that wont irritate my stomach has been a battle I’ve kind of given up on until we figure out how I got gastritis and heal. Having to go spice, additive, dairy, gluten, and (mostly) sugar free to fight the inflammation, I’ve had to handmake everything down to my own sandwich bread. It was SO nice to feel a bit of normalcy today, be able to order from a menu without asking for crazy accommodations, and to have something actually amazing tasting. My love language is now their snickerdoodles and coffee cake! While I hope my illness is temporary, I will be forever thankful for this bakery and what they did for me today! ❤️🍪”

This is truly where you need to get your cookies from. I’ve had cookies at parties for years, and they rarely taste good—they’re usually cute but either flavorless or just taste off. Amanda’s cookies were not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. The moment my guests and I took a bite, we all immediately commented on how amazing they tasted.

We were just as impressed with the cake. This was the first party I’ve ever hosted where there wasn’t a single piece of cake left over—that’s how good it was!

“I have seen four bad reviews.I think they must be talking about another place.We started going there a little over two years ago.We eat there at least once a week,sometimes twice and not on ce was there a bad meal.They have had a little trouble with Chefs as the one who had been there a long time,who.drove from Galveston every daY, left early this year He was great.The other Chef who came was ok but not successful and did not last long and I do not know if they have another permanent Chef or if the Chef's assistants are doing it at the moment.Whatever the food is always good and plenty and they have 22 beers on drought and offers on drin ks and food every day.Food is served until 10pm every night except Fri and SaT when it is 11pm aNd they are open until midnight every day except Fri and SsturdaY when it is 1am.The staff are great and the Customers are great. We have made at least 20good friends and I mean Good friends who are now close friends ,since going there.If you want grest food,great.drinks,meet nice people,this is the place.I always saY there is always an ear that will.listen and someone to laugh with.I do not understand the bad reviews of whic h I saw only four going bac to20 21.This is NOT this place.”
