“I've eaten Takeout here at least 3x a week since I moved to the South Shore harbor area and the food is always excellent. Triple Tuna Roll is Top Notch! I've never eaten inside, so I cannot really judge it's atmosphere, but I will say that every time I order close to Dinner Time and pick up - It's always got a lot of customers inside. This spot is like a hidden gem in League City.“
“Had the filet mignon and shrimp for two and it was delicious...we both kept saying how good it was thru out the meal!! No immediate availability at Hibachi grill but could still order your Hibachi menu items from dining area. Service was excellent too. We plan to make this place one of our regular restaurants.“
“It was a Friday evening but it was too loud. The dishes look very good and there is plenty of food. The hot & sour soup was thicker than I'm used too. Too many mushrooms for me. My main dish was shredded pork with green beans but I found it too salty. The others had no complaints and enjoyed their choices. The server was very nice & attentive, not in our faces, just right. I will try again, and order something different.“
“Super cozy Sushi restaurant with delicious food and great staff! The wait staff were super kind and the service was fast, the presentation was incredible (see the flaming sushi below ??), and everything was tasty! The manager Coco even brought us out free Mochi at the end! Amazing experience and we'll definitely be coming back!“
“My wife and I have had several great meals here. We’ve eaten lunches and dinners. I strongly recommend going. Our last eaten there was fantastic. We did have a young completely untrained server. Although polite he didn’t have a clue about his job. This is a great restaurant. We won’t let new wait staff keep us away.Wheelchair accessibility: Available and adequate.“
“The owner was so nice and you can tell he’s so passionate about what he does. He was super personable and suggested some great food for us. The sushi itself is SO FRESH. Like, you can definitely tell how fresh it is. Overall it’s a really awesome spot and I love the picnic table right by so we could eat outside!“
“I love sushi, and to have this place open so close to home has been great. The food is top notch and just as good as any other place I’ve been to around the city.Huge selection but I usually stick to the sushi or sashimi and some takoyaki to round it out.Only thing I would avoid is the booth at the very from of the restaurant because depending on the time of day, the sun is gonna blast you in the eyes.“
“I had been telling my husband about how bad I wanted to cry this place and when he said he had a place in mind for dinner I had no idea! Sabrina was amazing! Our first experience was definitely a great one and I cannot wait to return. Sabrina set be up with this DELICIOUS sauce that was chefs kiss ?. For being the price that it is and all that you can choose from is such a steal. The sake was so great, the vibe, the environment, the choices you can add to your broth and it’s all you can eat! They definitely have our services and we’ll be back soonWheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating“
“Great service, nice atmosphere and amazing sushi. The BF has been living close to the Canadian border for 5 years and so went hog wild. Said it was all great. He especially loved the sea urchin. My fried dumplings were yummy. And my shaggy dog and shrimp tempura rolls were excellent. They have a lot of non sushi options I'll be back to try.“
“We keep coming back for more! Sushi is fresh and the combination of ingredients used for the rolls is amazing. We ordered the yellowtail appetizer, clear lake roll and the komeya roll. We’re not afraid to try new rolls every time we come visit because we know we won’t be disappointed.“
“Really great service and great food. Came with my 4 year old who recently discovered her love for sushi, and we were treated very well. Our server, Ethan, was accommodating, and the sushi was delicious. They have some dedicated vegetarian sushi rolls, including a tempura sweet potato roll that was incredible. They had a few other vegetarian options but I was stuff after 4 rolls. I will definitely be back to try the portobello!“
“My boyfriend and I tried this place the other day. I literally ate all of the Tonkotsu ramen soup they made and I’ve tried other ramen places before but this place really takes it. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen soup to be spicy and they accommodated me. I also got the dumplings as well which were delicious. Service was 10/10, I would recommend anyone to give this place a try.“
“The miso soup is really good. A lot of the sushi seems fried or has something fried in it which isn’t the healthiest. The tempura shrimp doesn’t have much meat in it. Other than that everything else was great. The service was wonderful and the decor and ambiance was nice. The prices are great too.“
“I visited this location on the 30th of December 2023 and I can say I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere though I was disappointed that I couldn't try one of their bento boxes. their general Tso chicken was cooked perfectly and the server was polite and prompt. 10/10 would visit “
“2019 called...they want their prices back. Apparently these guys missed the inflation memo. My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner tonight and the quality of the food was outstanding as we expected. The bill however ended up being about half of what we thought we'd spend. We had the Sushi B, Maki Combo plus some appetizers and Saki. We left completely full and very happy with the great service.“
“This quiet little restaurant has a tight-knit staff that recognize me when I come in. They’re attentive even when the food is taking a while, which is always worth the wait. There’s homely decorations all around, including pictures of NASA astronauts and other personnel.“
“Very nice place and food, at the right price too. Basically Asian food plus sushi and rolls, but we enjoyed our meal there.Lots of shrimps, good amount of food. Service was great. Even though not really authentic as Asian food, I still liked the taste.Recommended for all to try, just note that food is not really spicy spicy for Asians who love spicy food.“
“This place was recommended by a friend.Hands down it was great from the moment we walked in. All the staff were super friendly. The food was fresh and delicious!!! Even other patrons were super nice and friendly as well.Definitely will be frequenting this place. Ask for Andy, he was one of the Sushi chefs!!!“
“This is the best place for sushi I have ever been! I absolutely LOVE this place off of fuqua. The sushi is delicious, and they have these jalapeño bombers that I could live on for the rest of my life. My boyfriend too. So delicious! Love this place! Highly recommend. ?“
“Top Sushi: New Orleans Roll / Bottom Sushi: Houston Roll. They are amazing I highly recommend these two, please be aware that these sushi's do contain raw tuna or fish. Overall customer service was excellent, they were efficient and very attentive. The ambiance was very modern I loved it and I love that this restaurant plays a variety of music that's accommodating to all which was very cool. Their sushi is very delicious and I love the fact that they also offer other dishes besides sushi for those who may not eat sushi. They're very accommodating to their customers which to me it shows their appreciation for their customers.“
“It is all about their teriyaki chicken here. Sarku is a chain food court restaurant, but they're not very common. If you have never had a free extra helping of that sauce on top of your chicken and rice, you have not yet lived. If you don't order chicken, rice, and veggies, then you needlessly hold up the line. Stick to the good stuff.“
“WOW is all I can say. I’ve found my new sushi spot. I’m from austin and was craving so sushi.. the Escolar was some of the BEST I’ve had!! Melts in your mouth with a nice helping of crispy garlic on top.I got the Panda Wu roll and OMG so delicious! The PERFECT amount of kick with freshness. Very very impressed with this place and happy to be a returning customer“
“I love this place. They've been around long enough for the familiarity and nostalgia that comes with a deserved reputation but are still current and hold their own. I like the atmosphere. Something about it reminds me of the early 90s. Probably the fresh water fish tank and not so hidden ceramic buddha lounge kitty cat collector's cocktail cups. Happy hour sushi is a good deal. Anything with avocado and spicy salmon substituted for the fake crab is worth it. I won't lie. I'm a sucker for the shrimp tempura. The hibachi table can be a fun, family dinner.Vegetarian options: A huge pile of vegetables on the hibachi is hard to beat. They say seaweed salad is good for you. Lots of zinc or something.“
“I've been to this location for many celebrations. It is always a great time. Honestly, it's the best hibachi restaurant out there, in my opinion (I've been to most, if not all, hibachi restaurants). Their rice, vegetables, and salad trumps all others easily. They also have a decent lunch special. Definitely recommend dining here for any occasion.“
“Food was so good! Went with some friends to give sushi a second chance after having a not so great introduction to it a few years back lol we've been twice and everything we've ordered from the poki nachos to the full rolls to the fried rice for my kids has been amazing! Def recommend!“
“I've been wanted to try this restaurant for quite a while and tonight we tried Fuji Ramen Bay Colony. It did not disappoint.E V E R Y T H I N G we ordered was amazing. Ivan, our server did a great job. He took my fish allergy seriously and did not scoff when I ordered sushi. I was able to enjoy the non fish sushi as well as the chicken karaage ramen. And to top it off, the check was only $105 for 3 adults including 4 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 alcoholic beverages. We will be back!“
