“I loved both of my experiences there. And my young adult kids love it too. They really made us comfortable right away and very personable. Owners are awesome and oh yeah, the food was great! Even the presentation is fun. The kids even sang karaoke. They were a hard no at first and after having such a good time, they couldn’t deny it. I will be back as long as I live in Houston!“
“One of the best sushi rolls my husband and I have ever tasted. We were very satisfied. Thanks to Mr Vicente at the sushi bar we were able to try different sauces with our sushi. “I have been a long time customer of Sarku. I have read the bad reviews and I know every experience can be different but I have had only good experiences at this location. The service has always been friendly. This location is always busy and the line can get long. No matter how long the line I have never had to wait too long. The cooks have been the same ones for years now. They know how to cook the chicken just right. I have had teriyaki chicken at other places and the chicken is burnt. I have never had that issue here. I will say the prices have gone up but they have gone up everywhere so it's unfair for people to leave a bad review because they think the prices are too high. However, their portion sizes are plenty and I usually get double meat so I have enough for lunch the next day. Their drink cups are BIG so when you spend $2.50 you get alota soda vs other places with their small cups for the same price. Before covid they offered refills but that is gone. Smh. I recommend this place for some good teriyaki.“
“Went here with the family for dinner last night. Their food was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The presentation was pleasing to the eye. The restaurant has a very welcoming vibe and was set up nicely. The staff was very polite and friendly. They made sure to check on us several times to see if we needed refills or anything. The only thing I'd recommend is to offer larger food portions for larger parties of people. It would be nice to be able to order a variety of larger portions and share amongst a large group. The whole family enjoyed this place and we will be back.“

“I remember getting food from here when they newly opened, I came back and they’ve completely changed for the better! The people who work here are so kind! I ordered for pickup one time and they accidentally gave me the wrong order. I came back and they were so nice and understanding for the inconvenience; they even gave me a free bowl for my next visit :). I order the Orange Spicy Chicken with noodles and no veggies, SO GOOD!“
“I love the poke bowls here! I usually come in for the 3 salmon protein, white rice, seaweed and crab salad bowl. They are fairly priced and the food is delicious. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. It's always a pleasure stopping by.“
