Yama Kitchen Pasadena is a restaurant where the food and service are always good. The all you can eat option lets guests choose from the whole menu, including grilled meats, sushi and other dishes. The short rib is really good, and the grilled meats go well with lettuce and kimchi. The sushi is great, and guests can also order sushi and sashimi and do less cooking on the grill. The food is delicious, flavorful and amazing, and the tempura Oreo with the green tea ice cream is the perfect finish. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the hosts are friendly. The servers are extremely helpful, attentive and welcoming, answering any questions and making amazing suggestions. They explain how everything goes and engage guests in conversation, asking why they came and telling them about joining the membership. There is so much to try, and it is impossible to try it all. Guests enjoy themselves, rate the place a 10/10 and highly recommend it, planning to come back again.
