“Our “Sunday Adventures” brought us to Athena’s Corner.We have been searching for authentic Mediterranean food since coming back from Israel that was a closer to home and without driving into Houston. Athena’s Corner is the best by far in this search.Edit2nd visit:We really liked our first selections from the 1st visit but wanted to try other selections from the menu.For appetizers, we tried the KeftedesMeatballs, Falafels & Dolmades Ladoregano.The meatballs were interesting but smaller portions than expected. The Falafels were small, slightly over cooked (maybe we are spoiled from our Israel trips) but had a good taste.For entrees we had Large Greek Salad with Gyro & Chick Pea Salad with Gyro.For dessert we had the Ravani which was amazing!First Visit:Everything from the appetizer to dessert was excellent.We ordered the Dolmades Ladoregano and Hummus for Appetizers.For main dishes, we ordered Chickpea Salad and the Gyro Plate.For dessert, we shared a Chocolate Mousse Cake.We will definitely be back soon!”

“We come nearly every Saturday for one of their delicious smoothies. Lots of different tasty options. The people that work there are very friendly. It's a big deal to me when you go to a business and give them your money they actually seem to be glad you are there. Love The Healthy Crave!”

“The lunch buffet is better than the big corporate box pizza by a long shot. Also great salad bar, fresh, large selection. Check out the specials if you don't want pizza, they have amazing pasta dishes as well.Kid-friendliness: They give the kiddos pizza dough to play with, and watching them hand toss the dough into the air is always a crowd pleaser .”

“First time trying Habanero's and was not disappointed!! We also had the chips and Queso, and my husband and son both had the Carnitas Taco Plate!! Everything was just so flavorful and delicious! Will definitely be going again! Staff were kind and welcoming!”

“Let me just tell you about this place. The Thai food is amazing and some of the best you will ever eat around the greater Houston area….heck in any area. The service is amazing and they make you feel you are right at home. They are friendly and care about you having a great fine dining experience. I am a creature of habit so I love my favorite dishes (Spring Rolls, Lobster Dumplings, Goat Cheese Salad, and Chicken Panang). I have been coming to Merlions for the past 14 years. It is a gem and can never get enough of their foods nor ever say anything horrible about their staff. I have had 2 tops to 20 top parties, and they have always been spot on. I read some of these poor reviews and think are we even at the same restaurant?? The owners and staff pride themselves on service and are sticklers for getting the food and drinks out in time. The food is made from scratch to order so it’s the freshest when it lands on your table. I rarely post reviews but I could not resists after I read some of these negative ones. You can’t go wrong with Merlions. It is an amazing place in every way!! Great people, great service, and outstanding food!!!!”

“Nice, quiet breakfast spot with lovely sweet treats! We stopped in for a quick breakfast and got the banana crepes with Nutella and a mocha latte. It was delicious! Service was quick and the establishment was very clean and inviting.”

“First time here wont be the last.I am freaked out about meat glue and lab grown meat and the man behind the counter assured me they dont play that nonsense there.We got 3lbs ground for a steal, sausage that was THE BEST we have ever had, and the most delicious boudin we have had in a long time!! Even though there are tons of cool decor around it all seemed to be dust free. I cant tell you as a new meat eater how happy I am to have found this spot! Stay out the the grocery store for your meats and come check this gem out!They apparently have weekly specials as well!Make this your new place!!”
