“What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! The chef deserves to be recognized!!“

“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!“

“Vulnerable moment: Since being diagnosed with gastritis, my health and diet has been turned upside down. Making plans in advance is impossible because I never know how sick i will be. I spend most of the day silently in pain and finding appetizing things to eat that wont irritate my stomach has been a battle I’ve kind of given up on until we figure out how I got gastritis and heal. Having to go spice, additive, dairy, gluten, and (mostly) sugar free to fight the inflammation, I’ve had to handmake everything down to my own sandwich bread. It was SO nice to feel a bit of normalcy today, be able to order from a menu without asking for crazy accommodations, and to have something actually amazing tasting. My love language is now their snickerdoodles and coffee cake! While I hope my illness is temporary, I will be forever thankful for this bakery and what they did for me today! ❤️🍪“

I ordered the Gulf red snapper along with the fried alligator and kept it simple with a couple of bottled waters. The snapper was fresh and cooked just right flavorful, tender, and definitely the standout of the meal. The fried alligator was a fun addition too, crispy on the outside and nicely seasoned. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out in a reasonable time. It felt like a place that cares about both the food and the customer experience. Overall, I would recommend Tookie’s Seafood if you’re looking for fresh, well prepared seafood in a laid back setting. I would definitely come back.“

If you come often wnough for them to recognize your face, theyll start making suggestions based on the things you order, and they've introduced us to aome amaxing off-mwnu combinations! The menu has a variety of Ramen and other Japanese dishes, reasonably priced. Seaweed salad, an ultimate tonkatsu (#19) ramen with added bok choy, and the Deer Park roll with a side of cha-cha sauce is our standard order, though the #18 Black Garlic Tonkatsu is amazing as well. Husband and I have been coming since 2017, and we've made it a point to try every menu option. It's all incredible, you can't go wrong. We frequently bring friends, and they say the same. Kid friendly as well. Parking seems limited until you realize there's an expanded lot around the back of the building.“

Clean, delicious, friendly atmosphere. The Decor and lighting .... Fabulous and peaceful!!! My mother in law is a retired nutritionist and taught cooking. She would be very proud of your variety of Thai dishes. Can not wait to bring her when she visits us!!! Great prices too!!!“

“We celebrated our daughter’s birthday with a big party of 25 people. Yannis was the only server and he was fantastic! Very quick service, hot food, drinks stayed filled, and he was very organized! He really went above for us tonight when I asked about them doing anything for birthdays, he let me know they don’t do that anymore, but that he would love to sing for her. He gave her a huge shout out at the restaurant and had our whole section singing- and brought her a delicious tres leches slice! We will definitely be back to specifically sit in his section!“

“First time customer and I will be back! I visited the MOD Pizza location in Pasadena, Texas.
Located in an easy to find retail shopping center off of the Beltway.
Restaurant was very clean. Service was impeccable. Staff person took his time to explain the process for ordering. A myriad of toppings, sizes, sides, dine-in or take out.
I decided to stay and enjoy my pizza (with intention to take 1/2 home for later).
That didn't happen since I ate it all except one slice. Beverage offerings (self-serve) were excellent as well.“
