“I called a day before to place bulk orders for a graduation party. I ordered barbacoa, pastor, and chicken. The prices are reasonable and are so tasty. The kids like the beans because they taste like grandma's. The rice was a hit at the party. Came with salsas and Pico. Will definitely cater again from them!“

We ordered a couple Angus brisket tacos, a spicy tikka chicken taco, Mexicali shrimp taco, and a kids chicken quesadilla. Man...whoever was in the kitchen making these...keep doing it this way. We've been eating Velvet Taco for 14 years now. It used to always taste THIS way, but many locations gradually started going downhill, with a few hits here and there, but more misses than anything. But today was a refreshing reminder of what Velvet Taco used to taste like. Please keep this up. To the unknown taco maker/chef in the kitchen who made our order tonight, thank you so much. This is the best we've had from Velvet Taco in years. Also the kind individual at the window who confirmed our order was correct was a nice nod in a good direction. We'll definitely be coming back more often!!! I'd share pictures of the food but it's all gone. Truly. Thank you.“

“Delicious breakfast tacos! We always get the flour tacos with bacon, egg, pico de gallo and cheese and they’re fresh and tasty! Ordering over the phone is easy and we can get 4 for about 11$ which is a steal because they’re a good size. Customer service is friendly and helpful.“

“One of the better tasting taco trucks in the Pasadena area. Good lighting in the main parking area, but this place is so good you might have to park on the other side of it too.
These guys were busy when I went, but they still got my order 100% accurate and even thanked me for stopping by.
WHAT I LIKED THE MOST... they give you a restaurant buzzer(pager) to let you know your order is ready so you can wait in your vehicle! Kept me from standing outside and dealing with mosquitoes coming at me like I'm a buffet.

“Got a strawberry cream snowcone and it was delicious. Very friendly staff and clean facility. Will definitely be going back often. Many people are complaining about the prices but they were equivalent to other popular snow cone places in the area (Tropical Chill or Kona Ice, etc) and these were far better with real fresh fruit on top. And they did not skimp on the fruit!“
