“This spot has become our go to location for Tamales and tortillas. The Tamales are amazing. I am forever getting them for my office and now have everyone going there to get them as well. We have tried tamales everywhere because they are one of my families favorite items and we will not get them from anywhere else now. Give them a try - they are truly the BEST!!!!”

“We had a group of nine people and when we sat down we were greeted and gave drink orders. Family visiting while eating chips and salsa. Ordered food and it was ready and delivered to NINE people still hot and fresh. The service was better than any place I have ever been with EIGHT MORE PEOPLE. The food is fixed by real Hispanic cooks and was delicious.”

“I was sooo happy to see Tropical Chill was STILL open and STILL as wonderful as it was when I was a kid, 32 yrs later! They have THE BEST snoballs in THE WORLD! I had not been by in years and was driving through DP on Center and told my childhood friend that I remember super yummy snowcones and she said they were still open! I pulled in and felt like nothing had changed. It is a top favorite and will be for me! Shaved creamy ice with flavorful choices that have never disappointed! Thank you for still keeping us cool with yumminess!”

“The Brisket House has the best bbq. I was first introduced to them at work. A customer brought some of their chicken and pork ribs, I was hooked. The chicken was very moist and favorable. The ribs were cooked perfectly and flavorable as well. They use plenty of black pepper like I like. Unfortunately they are not close to where I live or I'd go more often.”

“I've been here a few times just for cupcakes. I saw the owner post something last week when I was sick about chicken and dumplings because I was sick it sounded amazing! She was so sweet and the food was delightful. I went back today and got the zuppa soup and jalapeño popper crossiant with cornbread and smores cupcake and it was all sooo yummy!”

“I tried the Shaggy Avocado roll and it was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The shrimp tempura inside added a perfect crunch, while the generous topping of avocado gave it that smooth, creamy balance. The “shaggy” layer of crab on top made it feel extra indulgent without being too heavy.
What really made it stand out was the texture contrast—crispy, soft, and slightly sweet all in one bite. The sauces were used just right, enhancing the flavor instead of overpowering it. Every piece felt well put together and fresh.
If you like rolls that are a little on the richer side but still balanced, the Shaggy Avocado is definitely a solid choice. I’d order it again without thinking twice.”

“There is no doubt that the kolache recipes are absolutely amazing and keep everyone coming back. However the reviews that mention that they don’t warm up the kolaches, or even offer to warm them, are true. This has always been disappointing to me. They got my order wrong this morning, but normally they always get my order correct and have decent coffee. Have a good morning ☀️”

“This is a cozy little local spot tucked inside a meat market, and it feels very authentic. There were lots of local families stopping by for breakfast, which is always a good sign. The ordering process is simple—you place your order, then take your ticket to the supermarket counter to pay. Everyone there is super friendly. Just note there’s a $5 minimum for credit cards. There’s no water service, but there are fridges full of drinks you can grab.
The food was great. The pupusa was crispy and really tasty, and the pickled cabbage on top had a strong flavor that balanced everything nicely. The gordita was also well made and full of flavor. Prices are very reasonable, and I was actually surprised that one pupusa was enough to fill me up. I’d definitely come back.”

“We held my husband’s birthday here at TO 3 last weekend and the staff was so accommodating for a large group of 20. Our waitress Kathy was so sweet and so tentative. Our whole group had a really good time and enjoyed the food. They also had clear walls up and heaters around the patio so you could still enjoy the outside views. 10/10 👌”

“A deer park institution. The filippos family has been running the business for over fifty four years. Now the two boys are running the place with her mother. Their father passed away ten years ago and they lost their sister to cancer eight years ago. The food quality is amazing. Fresh made hamburger patties everyday homemade. Onion rings and great gyros, that are authentic as greek can be. Give them a shot they are great family and they know how to cook great food.”

“If you love chicken fingers, this is the place to go! The only downside is that it can get a little messy sometimes, especially when teens come in after football games. Other than that, during the day you can enjoy your food comfortably in the dining area.”
