“We had a fabulous brunch at Ed's Bistro celebrating my mom's birthday. 😊 Everything was amazing and homemade. We started with the strawberry glazed biscuits and WOW... those melted in your mouth. Absolute heaven! My mom and I loved the shrimp and grits. They used fresh jumbo gulf shrimp over cheesy grits. It's the best we've ever had. My sister also enjoyed her croissant sandwich. We ended the meal with the strawberry shortcake dessert. It was also a big hit and I see why they are famous for it. Special thanks to Magen for making my mom's birthday brunch extra special. She kept the cocktails flowing and even offered us some off menu items like her cherry cosmo and dragonfruit mimosa. We absolutely loved the old town country feel and this was truly the best brunch experience we've had in a long time. We can't wait to visit again soon.”

We absolutely enjoyed our server Janell she handled her self professionally and made sure every table she had what was needed with a smile on her face. The cook Kaylssa was training a young man didn’t catch his name but the food was absolutely wonderful I really enjoyed the atmosphere with the whole staff.”

Beef fajita meat, soft tortillas, sauteed onions/peppers, and queso cheese. The flavor wasjust awesome let me tell you. I even drove from Channelview just to eat here. I highly recommend Pepe's if you want some really decent food. ☺”

Im not sure if it was the coffee or maybe one of the flavors but it tasted like bitter coffee... I know coffee is bitter but it was almost like the bitterness from when coffee is a little too old or sat for too long. However my daughter got a caramel frappuccino and they made it amazingly, they were generous with the portions given to her and I was thankful for that! The people were kind and the drinks didnt take too long to come out. I mean its starbucks lol we all have our preferences it was a good experience on short notice!”

The buns were slightly buttered and toasted. The potato salad had an excellent taste. The Mac and cheese was the right amount of cheesy. “Recently I have noticed that the service has gone down hill. You never find a manager out on the floor checking on customers they either are sitting in the booth by the kitchen or are hiding in the office. If you have an issue , which I did on a to go order, and ask to speak with a manager ( I think his name is Chip or Rick) the person who answers the phone says please hold then comes back and says he is not here. I got the same response on 3 attempts to speak with him. It's a shame because we use to come and eat a lot here and now we find out they have fired one of their best employees Sarah for not getting customers out of the restaurant fast enough during a small fire in the kitchen. Isn't that the manager's job? How is she supposed to force customers to leave? It's a shame because we always received Excellent Service from Sarah. Another restaurant will be lucky to have her and we will visit them when we find out where she is going!”
