“Wasn't very happy when I turned in 3 tickets and only recieved credit for 2 freeplay spins and the 1 ticket !!! that supposedly got lost or( POCKETED I FEEL) was the one with the highest # of free spins.Yeah, I've chalked it up to the game. BUT A NERVE WAS HIT !! Nevertheless , considering this LIL BAR & GRILL(SAMS AND DAVE'S) is very clean , roomy , friendly, with that awesome hometown bar vibe ! They have an atmosphere weather you are 25 to 95 yrs old their layout can accommodate yaand Any kind of party or gathering you can think of from A to Z .My interactions with everyone were respectful , engaging& friendly ( very rare in todays world ) is less than a mile from my house. “If you're looking for good tex-mex on a budget this is it. Large portions and best in town type of prices. The wait staff is also top shelf. They never write down my family's order and they always get it right. I only have a family of 4 but each one of us likes very different things. There is, in my opinion, better tex-mex in La Porte but you'll pay a considerably higher bill. But overall we love it and will definitely be back.“
“Used to live in the neighborhood and went often, but food is always good, drink are fairly priced. Nice atmosphere and you can tell it's owned by locals who love La Porte. “Gotta say this is by far the cleanest Chilis I’ve ever been too! However the burger, ordered it pink and it came crusty and well done. Cheese was dried up. Chilis exists because of this burger. Hope they can show the old timer some love in the near future. We need a juicy patty and some melted cheese please.“
“Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly Help. German Food truck is amazing. Live music. The owners really love this place, and it shows. Live music, and events on tap almost all the time. Drinks made how you like, and a brand new ice machine to keep that beer as cold as my Ex's heart.“
