“Allow our 1st experience was not all that good, slow service, forgot drink order( girl who took order left without telling anyone my hot tea order). I commend the young man working he was waiting on people as fast as he could and did a good job. The food we ordered was very good. Looking forward to trying other items.“

“There could be either malice in the minds of those leaving bad reviews or just got a fluke experience. We’ve been taking-out from here 15+ years. Everything we get tastes good, and at a good value. The service is genuinely friendly and attentive. The portions are very generous. I get a quart size meal for myself ($12) and eat two or three times. Now it’s no Spicy Chen, but it’s good food for sure. Deer Park is blessed to have this little gem. Shame on anyone falsely tainting the efforts of an honest establishment.“

“I came here specifically for the dumplings and their signature fruit infused teas and I got to tell you after an hour and a half of stuffing my fat face. They did not disappoint ladies and gentlemen. They start off by bringing you a pitcher of lemon water and the holy trifecta which consists of soy sauce Chinese black vinegar and I'm talking about some legit chili oil 🪔 that you mix to your liking. Now I like my dipping sauce a little sweeter and since I'm not a complete barbaric animal by asking for sugar I asked for a little sweet and sour sauce and mixed in with my Trifecta blend. But that's just my preference. All the dumplings I tried were amazing and rightfully so. They have two sweet older Asian but intimidating looking women that are constantly filling and wrapping all types of dumplings. I have to admit the proficiency and ninja like skills with a knife of these two ladies was awe-inspiring.
Although my absolute favorite ones though were the shrimp and pork pan-fried dumplings. Because hello you had me at fried. They had the perfect combination of steamed on one side and fried to Golden perfection on the other. Oh and they definitely a 2 bite dumplings with copious amounts of filling. I will definitely be coming back eager to try the rest of their menu.“

Ive been coming here for almost 10 years and the food never fails to impress me. Always so flavorful and very affordable. Yesterday was my first time dining in for my dad's birthday and it didn't disappoint. Plates were overflowing with food, staff were very friendly and attentive. Love it! If you've never tried their food it is a must.“

“I've been a customer here for years now. Typical American Chinese fast food menu but the taste and quality of the food served is what makes it stand out compared to all the other drive thru oriental fast food places within a 10 mile radius of the South Houston/Pasadena area. I have yet to be disappointed by anything off their menu. Attentive, professional staff at the drive thru order station and pick up window. There is dine in available but I've only ever picked up food to go. I drive here over the three other businesses closer to my home. Recommend. Atmosphere I never give 5 stars unless its an exceptional dine in experience. Fast food joints can never rate 5 stars for this reason.“

“A needle in a haystack? Out of all Chinese restaurants, this one has been the BEST. Very friendly staff, amazing food, and crazy good prices. I've been coming here for about a year, and the lunch specials are definitely the best value. My wife loves the vegetarian options, and I love trying all the lunch specials. If you're looking for something decent and affordable, I highly recommend checking it out!“

“Super friendly gentleman greeted me and personally helped me select a menu option. I went with one that was loaded with vegetables, chicken, and seafood. It came with a generous side of tasty rice. To be candid, I was shocked to find such a pallet pleasure, at such a reasonable price.
I absolutely do recommend this place for your asain food cravings. I was the only one inside, but the drive through was constant and steady, appearing to be a local drive-thru favorite.“

“Absolutely delicious. I got the general chicken with fried rice and 2 egg rolls.

I have to start off by saying it was the best fried rice I've ever had from a restaurant. The rice was soft, and just a little chewy, not overly mushy or crunchy, cooked just right. The flavor was lightly sweet and eggy, unlike the fried rice I have had from other places that was dry and drowned in overpowering soy sauce. It was great both on its own and paired with the chicken.

And now the general chicken itself was perfect. The meat was juicy and tender, there was plenty of veggies (I especially loved the crispness of the water chestnuts), and the sauce was spicy and full of flavor; it tasted a bit like sriracha.

The dinner meal portion size was very generous, too. I didn't take a picture because I was not expecting to leave a review, but I was starting to feel full halfway through it.

The wait for my food was on the longer side, but I know that's because it was being made fresh, and the wait staff was very friendly and kept me updated.

All in all, I am 100 percent coming back, and I am telling my friends and family.“

“First time eating here I ordered take out pretty large order it was fast also. I love egg drop soup and they did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this place. It's hard to find good Chinese Food in the City. Definitely will return. The ladies at the register were nice also“

“Stopped here to get lunch for a work crew. I had a pretty large order and they turned it around very quickly. This is a no frills spot, but the food is hot, fresh, and tasty. Crispy catfish with fries. Cheeseburger was seasoned well. Fresh lettuce and tomato to dress the burger. Canned soft drinks are ice cold. The fried rice is more popular than free lottery tickets 😁. Most people place order to go, but there's a few tables inside if you want to eat onsite.“

“The facility is nice and spacious with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The quantity of choices isn't enormous, but the overall quality is very good. The Mongolian beef is phenomenal but the servers are amazing. Definitely worth a return trip.“

It's a little light on real Chinese American flavor, if they used more herbs and spices in their recipes it would be a 5 star experience.
The egg rolls are the best thing I've had on their menu.

“I grew up in the neighborhood and ate here very often, got older and moved to JV and I had a taste for them. Mind you I havent eaten there in over 15+ yrs, I got the wings & combination rice.....I didnt even make it outta the parking lot, that food still HIT!!!!!! “The only issue I ever have here is the CHOW MEIN :( Any time I order during a specific time slot, the chow mein is usually PERFECT consistency & flavorful. If I buy at ANY other hour the chow mein is either flavorless (but edible) or over cooked to the point its GUMMY & inedible 😭 The consistency was like playdoh going down my throat 🥲😂 This leads me to believe I only like the chow mein when one specific employee is on shift & I need to figure out their schedule so I can have perfect panda every time LOL. Give that guy/gal a raise!“

“I went there after working, ordered, and had my food in my hand within minutes, piping hot. The portions are incredibly generous, they put the rice in a separate container because it wouldn't fit in the other box 😂 definitely worth the price and could be multiple meals (unless you are especially hungry)“

“Been 5 years since I last been to this restaurant. Ordered the chicken fried rice, the portions are a lot smaller now and a lot more expensive. Ordered six pieces of chicken wings and rice. Appreciate the fact that they said pieces of chicken wings, so I wasn't expecting whole chicken wings. Think about that when you are ordering chicken wings. But in all the food was terrific, great, delicious. I'll be going back real soon.“

“Greatest Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Literally has made all other Chinese food places taste bland or just had me thinking I wish I was sitting in those red leather seats again. Dining in is the way I most commonly eat, and it’s magical every time. The cashier is always so friendly and sweet, you can tell they like being there and treat you well. Everything is reasonably priced and the portions are very hearty, I’d say that I eat a lot, and the sesame chicken with no rice (the best chicken on the menu imo) always fills me up without making me feel sick. 100/10 please come here and give these kind people business!!!“

“We enjoy eating at Ah-Loo. It's easy to place a pick-up order over the phone, and then grab it at the drive thru window. Our go-to items are sesame chicken, orange chicken, wonton soup, sweet and sour pork, cheese crab puffs, and egg rolls. Once they left off my soup, I called back and, because we live close by, my husband was able to go back and pick it up - no questions asked.“
