“I ate in here last week, at lunch, and the food was so fresh and so good. The Chicken Chow Mein was EXCELLENT, best I've had in 40 years, and I've been trying to find some to compare to what I used to get at this little restaurant in Laurenburg, NC in the mid 80s. The fried rice was great. The Orange chicken was really good. The service was by far the best I've had in Kingwood in many many years. The portions are good and prices are very fair. I am still craving the Chicken Chow Mein, so I just ordered some food for pickup. Will update with a pick up order review. I will definitely be back for lunch.“

“The food was great and the portions were huge! I did not expect that but you definitely get you money’s worth in the amount of food you get.
They were quite busy when we went so our waitress forgot to bring our drinks right away but she was very nice and apologetic about it. Maybe having a little extra help on busy nights would help.“

“Next time I'll take pictures... This is our local favorite! We usually do take out, but we recently ate there in the restaurant - and yes, it smells just as amazing as you're imagining. We've had several dishes, and they're all delicious.

“My coworkers and I eat lunch here almost every day, and today was especially good. We had fried spring rolls, fried calamari, and General Tso’s chicken — all very fresh and tasty. The service is fast, and the food quality has improved a lot recently. It definitely feels like new ownership or a new chef. One of our go-to lunch spots!“

“Been ordering from here every once in a blue moon since the place first opened (both dine in and carry out). Never had any mishaps with the orders, the portions are large enough to make multiple meals, and I really love the sauces in many of their dishes. :)“

“I have dined many times and have never had a problem. On March 1st we had to have 2 tables combined to accommodate the 6 of us. we had a server take the drink order and another for the food order. Needless to say that between the 2servers THEY did not communicate to see who was going to give us the service that everyone else around us was receiving. we finally got our food, then i had to ask for our soups... water cups never got filled because no one came to check. one waitress apologized. but she never came back. had to go to the counter for our check and they had already applied an 18% gratitude. I don't believe that their service justified an 18%. they would not let us adjust it. needless to say I wont be back. MANAGEMENT needs to talk to their servers on giving service to ALL, not just some.“

“Thank you kung food cafe!!!! Literally the best chinese takeout ive ever had! The food is so fresh and full of flavor. The food arrived piping hot even though we did a delivery order. Definitely try the Mongolian beef, its not rubbery like most places and the sauce is amazing!“

“Absolutely amazing experience! The portions were HUGE and everything was so fresh and delicious. You definitely get your money’s worth. The flavors were on point, and every dish was packed with taste.
They even surprised me with free egg rolls, which was such a nice touch! The customer service was outstanding — super friendly and welcoming.
I ordered online and it was incredibly easy. They even had photos of the food, which made choosing so much better. My order was ready in about 10 minutes — so fast!
Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, big portions, and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back! 👏🍜🥢“

“Food was good.
Quantity was enough for two meals. Friends and I got takeout and both enjoyed the food and had leftovers.
Meals were all about $10. So that was five dollars a meal for me.
Even for those that like to eat a bunch $10 isn't much for a good filling meal.
Clean inside and not fancy but can sit down and eat inside if you like.“

“My boyfriend and I tried cafe east for the first time and we absolutely loved it! The service was amazing! Our server was so nice! The food was delicious! My favorite was the shrimp. The dining area was clean and very inviting! I highly recommend to eat there if you haven’t tried it! Was a decent price too! $40 for 2 adult buffet and drinks! Thank you Cafe east for making our visit the best!“

“Wow!! When the delivery driver brought the wrong food and was not willing to help I called up to Pei Wei and the manager took down my address and drive it to my house!! I have been down with a bug and needed some spicy food to kick it…. What an amazing experience!! Well done Kingwood Pei Wei!!!“
