“My wife and l come to this kingwood location about once a week, Brandon and Jordan are always great. The food is always great up until about a month or so ago. The Angel hair pasta in alfredo sauce tastes different, kinda soggy, it doesn’t taste the same l don’t know what changed but l wish they would go back to the previous one.”

“Enjoyed a yummy lunch! Every bite was delicious! We ordered: Tacos (1 pulled pork/1 brisket) Brussel sprouts Two meat plate - Brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage with baked beans and buttered corn. Had to get the dessert of the day: butterscotch pudding! We definitely found our new go to bbq spot! So many other items on the menu I wanted to try. Salmon Ribs Cajun rice Coleslaw Potato salad Beef tallow French fries Brisket burger Sooooooo many options!!”

“Stopped by for lunch in between doctor appointments and had such a pleasant experience! Their lunch menu is awesome and steal- got a drink, salad, and delicious burger with fries for only $11!!! “We were visiting Houston from Toronto and had Mexichido recommended to us, and WOW — this place absolutely lived up to the hype! Easily one of the best meals we had during our entire trip.

The food was INCREDIBLE. We ordered the chicken fajitas, which came out sizzling on a hot plate, and they were cooked perfectly, packed with flavour, and seriously delicious. The yellow cheese queso with the chips was unreal — rich, creamy, and dangerously addictive. Then came the Chop Chop topping… INSANE. It added so much flavour to everything and is an absolute must-try.

And if you like some heat, do not skip their habanero sauce! Spicy, flavourful, and so good that we kept going back for more even when the heat started kicking in.

The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire meal.

The restaurant itself has such a great atmosphere too — lively, energetic, beautiful ambiance, and a great location. It was exactly the kind of spot we were hoping to find while visiting Houston.

“For the past couple of years Swamp Donkey’s has been my go to spot during crawfish season. I may be obsessed with the garlic spicy as I go at least once a week during season. Staff is always friendly and the food is always great.

To make it better I just won a trip! Last Monday when I got my crawfish fix the server told me the drawing was going to be Friday. I didn’t think I’d win. I actually ignored the phone call before they sent me a text asking about my favorite crawfish spot. I absolutely love this place! Can’t wait for next year.”

“Fantastic Greek fare! Staff are legit straight from Greece. 🇬🇷 Shameful of us that we didn’t take any photos of our food before we scarfed it down! Gyros dinner platter with grilled vegetables - insane. Others had the avgolemono soup and practically licked the bowl. Jealous of Kingwood to have such an authentic Greek restaurant. Counting the days to our next return!”

“Before the new owner came in, Omar, I was having so many issues with getting the correct pizza, 3 times to be exact they messed it up. I finally sent an email with feedback and Omar the new owner responded promptly. He was super nice and offered to take care of me. That was in June 2025 and I just finally went in again in September and remembered our conversation and took care of me. Go in and say hi to the new staff and owner Omar, he is a great guy and my food was correct and delicious!!!”

“I eat at Poke Yana at least twice a week for lunch. I have NEVER had a bad experience. They are awesome. Good healthy food, great portion sizes, and they are always so nice. I highly recommend!”

“What a gem! We were delighted to find this bakery with its delicious and healthy menu. I avoid soybean oil, corn syrup, and refined flour, all of which are missing from this bakery’s ingredients list. Their freshly baked bread was so light and airy but extremely filling at the same time. There were so many delicious choices that we look forward to trying on a return trip. Prices were quite reasonable for the value. 💯will return. Highly recommend. The only recommendation I have for improvement is if they can improve signage. It’s a great location and very convenient to get to, but you need to know it’s there or you won’t see it. 10 / 10”

“I love this bar because it is where I go to catch an Astros game and not see too many familiar faces. It's a word of mouth type of place. “Love the subs, Far superior to Subway and you’ll notice a difference in taste and actual weight of the sandwich! Ordered via the Jersey Mike’s app for delivery, usually within 30 minutes. As for the delivery itself, perfect! They use a 3rd party delivery service, which was DoorDash and never a problem with the delivery. When the store opened, had a few issues with the orders, but the Mgr Katelyn corrected the issue and made it right. No issues since. Also, be sure to take advantage of their loyalty program.”

“I would not recommend them unless you enjoy paying more for less. They take away 1 of the 4 courses and then up the prices. We pay about $1,000 a month for 3 courses. We used to pay $600 for 4 courses. Plus they don't treat their employees very well. They can't go to the HR department because they will rat them out. Kids and Bullies run the place. It is beautifully maintained.”

“The food was nothing to write home about. It wasn’t well seasoned, but it wasn’t horrible either.

I was especially disappointed with the egg rolls. They don’t offer sweet-and-sour sauce—just packets of duck sauce and mustard, and the brands they gave us were disgusting! 😖 The egg rolls definitely tasted like the prepackaged, bulk kind, and they were filled with quite literally nothing but cabbage.

Overall, just really disappointing. 😞 I miss when you could tell restaurant owners took pride in the food they served. Unfortunately, that seems harder and harder to find these days.

We paid $54 for 3 dishes: Mongolian beef, happy family, and house lomein, and 3 eggrolls, that around $18 a person, kind of pricey I think.

Oh well… this one definitely won’t be added to our favorites. But we may go back and give them another try, definitely not getting eggrolls. 🥹”

“Delicious! My co-workers and I ordered lunch on a Saturday, 2 burger meals and 2 tacos, it was ready within 20 minutes for pick up. The brisket taco with the corn salsa and spicy mayo was the absolute BOMB! The brisket was perfect! The flour tortilla was warmed on the grill with cheese so it had that crispy cheese crust. It was absolutely fantastic! The guys both got the bacon cheese Skeeter burger and they were BOTH ready to take a fat nap after! We were completely satisfied with the food, prep time and atmosphere of the place when we picked the order up. We are all 3 taking about going back for lunch/dinner, or maybe even weekend brunch with our families. First timers, but definitely not last timers!!”

“Myself and my friend ate just a week ago or so and we arre still talking about the food. The food is colorful, plenty to make a fellow fall over to sleep. It was not loud from the music to which their very culture screams festive and hardy. But, a wonderful aroma and all sort of things to see as you wait for the mouthwatering of whatever is ordered. It all smells go good, even our neighbors a couple of tables over. The amount of food you are served is well worth the cost. You may even have some left over for the next day! Check them out!”

“I ordered DoorDash delivery from this location today and I wish that I had found it sooner. We ordered two chicken and lamb combo bowls and the taste was absolutely divine!! The portions were very generous as well. They forgot to send the Baklava that I ordered, but I was refunded for it right away after reporting not receiving it. I forgive them because I’m so pleased with my experience with the high quality and taste of the food servings here. I can’t wait to order again!”
